The wrap getting lost was a blessing in disguise, the black scoop looks great and helps the transition of pieces of the carbon. Looks amazing. Makes me want ones for my truck.

I am not against paying for professional work, but there's something about building something about your truck that gives you a satisfying. When you get a compliment on your truck, you can own it. Keep up the good work, I mainly watch your videos on your 2nd Gen Silverado, but since I am looking to buy a ZR2 or High Country, I am also watching the trail Boss videos.

Excellent work man! Way to improvise, those lines really accentuate the scoop and give the hood some more aggressive lines. The lost package was a blessing in disguise, allowing you to implement your creativity and make it that much more “yours”.

I had the same hood on my 13' silverado looks awesome, but I like that the new trucks already come with a ram hood except it goes in through the grill

Love the videos brother. The hood turned out great I was getting worried when you said carbon fiber outside, but you definitely made the right choice. I want to lay vinyl on my Silverado hood but worried on how hard that big of an area would truly be.

Great job. Looks awesome. That was a lot of work just to prep that hood. QC was non existent for that company that sold that hood. Kudos to you for turning it into an awesome hood.

Looks good, I know we all have our preference but I think if you did the black on the outside and then the Carbon in the middle. Also do the center piece last as the wrap will go over the outside pieces and give you better wind deflection. That little tiny lip on the carbon will catch air and other dust debris etc. If you do the center last the wrap will go over and when the wind goes over the hood it will go outwards and not have anything to catch on.

Clean af! I wouldn't have the patience. I almost ripped my front grille off out of pure frustration after having to pull it 3 times for different mods. My fault though, I go in with the clear mindset yet something always scrambles ha ha

Looks awesome! I think you should do some carbon fiber "CHEVROLET" inserts on the tailgate to bring out the carbon fiber from the hood. Keep up the great videos!

You should add a separating line between the black and carbon fiber with your teal color you have elsewhere. It would give it a bit more pop.

The ram air hood is definitely a nice edition brother. I wouldn’t have the patience to complete plus my Silverado has to compete with what you see in my profile pic😎 Yep, the truck loses most of the time but I did upgrade my lights to Las Fit, leveled it (2 inch lift in front) and upgraded my exhaust to Rough Country. Enough rumble to make me love my truck again and now I have to compete with my wife to drive it😂😂

Wax and grease remover to clean the surface. That should take care of the dust for you before laying the vinyl.
