Custom 4 Pipe Side Exit Exhaust ‘94 Silverado OBS Long Bed w/Flowmaster Super 44

I wanted to do something special for my long bed, something that work better for a long bed versus a short bed. So, I came up with this idea of a 4-pipe side exit exhaust tip setup. I think it accomplished my goal.

Thats sweet! Different and unique to what everyone else has done. I've seen plenty that do it center rear exit like the Corvettes.

Looks good, sounds good but i wouldn't have welded the tips to the pipe. But thats just me, its how mine comes out the side but duals all the way back to shorty glasspack cherry bombs

I’ll bet yours sounds good too 👌 I didn’t have much choice on the weld part, the adapters wouldn’t work with the exhaust tips I bought due to the tips not being a true 3 inch inlet. That’s how a lot of these made in China sold on eBay stuff goes. The experienced exhaust guy said he sees the bolt up stuff loosen up and fall off all the time and so it’s best to weld them on. 👍

@@dronechaserzl1 i get it, mine are 2 3/4 round cause that the only ones i found that i liked at the time, but the end pipe was 2 1/4 so i put a adapter from 2 1/4 to 2 3/4 welded it, the then drilled holes & put bolts thru into the pipe its self, my kids love the sound when going over a bridge, i punch it then let off, but right now 15k is just sitting in my drive way because electrical issues ive been trying to figure out.

Sounds very nice .👌 so what are you going to do with it? Even 2.0 litre cars are good for towing stuff. I assume you work at the local quarry and tow away broken down bulldozers with so much power under the hood 😄

Currently the factory 5.7 litre with 174k original miles but I have plans to go bigger down the road.

Only good thing about it is the tips not that restricted chokemaster 40 series it needs neighbors haters from black widow Corsa universal muffler or a borla xr1

I want this for my truck what are the legalities of it as long as I have cats in California I’m good? I have a 2007 but I just dropped a fresh rebuil L76 with 3 stage btr cam long headers E85 I I basically want this set up but I want to split I want to buy one side and two on the other and I want my pipe leading up to it chromed out grazing the bottom so it almost looks like a step bar

Not sure of legalities for your state but I would think if you pass your emissions then you’re good 👍

No, it was actually quick to get used to it. Nothing that would drive you crazy. Sounds great anyway. You could actually use a different type of rubber mount and make it as quiet as you like as far as cab wise.👍
