My fathers Custom built Suzuki GSX 1100.
This is the first run.
Still adjustment to be done on the chassis and engine.

I have a 1982,the rear parts and light assembly is so well thought,with the proper tire and exhaust.......I'm 50 and still have it,bought in April 83,at 18....It has changed color 5 times,but now,on a black chassis/drag bar,I got the tank sanded to bare metal and varnish with a protection film,at 100.00 KM,I completely redone the engine with new Racing internals,Pistons,ETC,4 race Air-filters,bigger Brembo brakes/clutch/exhaust,Dyno at 186 HP,kept the large square front light with LED(rear,too),but switched the large gages panel,to a small Electronic one,young dudes with 2010/15 Bikes are impressed with the power and the light Chassis,with Top MICHELIN TIRES,my bike is pretty much a (Monster)Sleeper.........

thank you for not wasting time, and giving me exactly what i searched for. the sound of a suzuki 1100 screaming at the top of its lungs. ignore the losers who are used to watching some baby rev his idling bike to 4k and no higher as if anything more would break it.

I'm older than dirt, Some of these comments. Always tune rich, It Helps keep parts happy. Make sure you don't get caught lean.

That looks like my GSX I sold back in the 80s with Kerker pipes; I noticed smoke from the exhaust at deceleration; would love to make you an offer on bike.....I sure would like to get part of me back

Mine is still parked in the back shed since the 90s when I had a bit of a whoopsy of the end of a loading ramp that wasn't really the road, it used to go 0 to 90 kph in first 90 to 160 in second and then slow down for the turn.

biggest mistake in my life when i sold my 2 GSX bikes(750 AND 1100 full)to buy a Ducati Mostro 1000,still crying!!!!...The 1100 was a monster.

What's wrong with it? Broken ring or a bad valve seal. Puffin a bit of smoke there after that run.

I see. Looks and sounds great. I had one years ago and put wiseco 1200 kit and some bolt on bits then flogged the poor thing for years. It was so reliable and strong. It would be nice to still have her. Maybe inspired to do it again now. Good on you mate
