Custom Doll Repaint! Pokemon Primarina MH/EAH OOAK

Hi everyone, and welcome back to my channel!
Today’s custom doll is based on the Pokemon Primarina, a Water-Fairy type final evolution of Sun and Moon starter Popplio! Join me as I use some doll magic to transform Ever After High’s Duchess Swan into this majestic mermaid princess!

She is so elegant and beautiful! Just like the pokemon :D White eyelashes on a pale doll do indeed seem like a challenge. Why are mermaids so fun?? Can't wait to see how you handle the other starters. I can only imagine Inceneroar being some kind of super buff Max Steel doll custom... lol!

That was all I could think of for Incineroar too, haha! But that's not really my style, so I decided to go in a more girly direction with a cute Litten kitty girl ^_^ Decidueye is going to be a male though! I can't wait to see more Pokemon dolls from YOU!!

my favorite thing about primarina is her top.. It might sound weird because its the least "complicated" clothing part of the doll.. but i just like the elegant feel it gives off and ive always been a fan of those clothing.

I remember choosing Popplio as my starter when everyone was choosing Litten and Rowlet, personally I absolutely adore my male primarina his name is Tyler, this doll definitely gives primarina justice, great work ❤️

I love Primarina's design but I personally don't like its attack set. Decidueye is my favourite (I love ghost types).

She's adorable! I really like the detailing. My one critique would have been that a bit of contrast in the face would have made her all the more striking, but you basically took the words out of my mouth! I think it's really, really commendable that you know what you need to work on; it's inspiring. I am loving your pokemon dolls, can't wait to see more from you!

I love the doll, it's so beautiful! But is it possible to zoom in your camera a bit more while doing the faceup? It's quite hard to see the details you are adding... :/

Thank you! And yes, I'm definitely working on getting better with the positioning of the camera. It's hard because when I start really concentrating on the details, I forget about the camera a little bit, haha ^_^'

Yeah, the other thing about the pastels is that since I'm using Liquitex as a sealant only on certain parts of the face, the pastels don't stick as well as they would if I used a spray-on sealant, like Mr. Super Clear. As soon as the weather gets warmer where I live I'm going to try that out and then maybe I can step up my pastel game :)

How lovely. I have to say I like the skirt at the top because it fits Primarina since the pokemon is all about that extravagance and opulence. A Prima ballerina seal needs her tutu.

This is such a unique custom. I love the mermaid dress and how the bottom details made it look like a fin. Made my love for Primarina grow - maybe I'll choose her for a starter in my playthrough of UltraSun!

To me, she looks like an opera singer! Primadonna but replace 'Donna' with 'Marina' and Marina sounds like Marine and Marine refers to ocean life. ; plus, she looks very lovely. I love her eyes and outfit! Good work!

I'm not really interested in Pokémon from a gaming perspective, it's too complicated in my opinion. But the concept of little creatures that represent different ideas, with a few basic themes (the "Types") is perfect for doll customs and other character designs. And through the doll community I'm starting to like the little guys!

I know this post is old and i'm not trying to press the games on you but pokemon is actually pretty basic. All you need to do is check a little chart to compare typings (to make sure your not weak to something and vice versa), level up your pokemon, and be prepared with heling items and such, that's kind of it. The most fun thing for me is picking which pokemon I like the best because there are sooo many to pick from regardless of what someone's taste is. I thought it would be complicated before I got my first game but it's much simpler than its made out to be.

When it comes to art styles and doll customs I am really quite picky, but I really love this doll! You can really see the improvement in the brush work! I never knew you could do that with acrilic! Overall, she looks amazing!!
