This is good for keyboards but I'm not sure about controllers. I'm trying to do some custom mapping for my Launchpad X. I've been able to copy commands from the downloaded maps but I don't know the commands for different pads like 'stems' or 'beatgrid'. I want to set up 2 launchpads -one for each deck- and have transport control and all the pad banks l normally use laid out on the launchpad.

UPDATE: I didn't know about the Pad Editor (I'm new to VDJ, still learning). I was able to open the Pad Editor and see the code for the pads and also open the mapper for my Launchpad and start copying the pad code for the relevant effect to the pad of my choosing on the Launchpad map. Then copy the color code to the LED for that pad. It worked! One day I need to learn what the code actually means so the process of mapping isn't so tedious.

How do you map for controllers? My controller doesn't have simpler volume control and I want to assign/my booth volume for my simpler how do I do that please 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

Hi @innis2gbor 😊 That's a very good question. In the 'Controller Section' 0:53 at the top there's 3 tabs (Keyboard | Phone/tablet | Missing controller) If your controller is not automatically detected by virtual DJ, try the 'Missing Controller' option and search for it manually. NB: Remember that you need a virtual DJ license for your controller to work. Hi @8090clubDJ ☺️ Samples can be triggered on your keyboard using the function keys (F1-F12). NB: You need to be using the Default (Legacy) mapper Hope this helps 😊
