I've done some autobody, but never painted. My three biggest takeaways were at -20:45 spread filler for both directions to reduce pin holes, -16:37 don't tack between clear coats or single stage enamels and -8:47 unmask before the paint is completely cured. Love the vids Tony!

This is what I got, just close you eyes and feel the entire surface, dry sand with 400 grit before paint always use hardener in enamels. Also for a bonus 1.8 to 2.0 tip for primer. Love your videos. You are a great teacher

The top five takeaways from this video I had started with the difference in coverage between the 1.4 and 1.8mm tips on the different guns. Secondly, listing the grit of sandpaper you used and all your tools was very helpful. Thank you! Third of all, the flashlight mounted on the gun is extremely handy, and I like that you show the POV painting experience so that I could see exactly what movements I need to make and how to flow with each pass. I appreciate all the vids and I highly recommend the VIP purchase. It’s absolutely worth the money. You taught me how to do paint and bodywork for $55. Thanks for everything Tony and keep up the awesome vids!

3:23 - feel with your hand without gloves to feel for even or uneven surface. Close your eyes to help. 4:40 - use 1.8 spray gun tip for more even primer. 14:10 - unmask after 2-4 hours after the paint job. Before complete cure to prevent paint peels. Thank you Tony, always learning from your course and videos. VIP - Wisconsin

DAMN!! SO MUCH CONTENT IN SUCH A SHORT VIDEO😎 GREAT NEW Techniques ive learnt were: @ 1:51 The use of fibre filler to fill big rust holes and dents. @14:24 The importance of removing masking tape before the paint is cured. @14:36 that plastic headlights can be restored to brand new shine by Sanding with 800grit and spraying with 2 coats of clear. @18:21 learnt how to use fine line tape for graphics and that blue painters tape is suitable because it doesnt stick so strong and is removed easily. @21:21 learnt that any decale can be turned into custom to suit your personality. TONY B the Crv looks wicked my bro ,Awesome work buddy. I bet anyone who watches this will be able to bang out a fanatastic job just by using techniques from this video when spraying their ride😎😎😎

Hi Tony, I just watched your video and it's great. Here are my three takeaways. 7:20 I learned that it is important to use a hardener/activator for enamel even if you are told it's not necessary. it will give you a harder finished product. 1:50 I learned not to overwork the filler and and spread in both directions to reduce pinholes. I would usually over work the filler trying to get rid of the pinholes. 13.07 keep laying the paint down until it's glossy. The GunBudd light really shows the gloss.

Ok 11:40pm I watched the video in the above link and it was awesome and amazing to say the least. I learned about feel and I was amazed at how closing your eyes and running your hand over the car you could feel the high and low spots . Also I learned about painters tape and how to use it for painting projects so when you peel it off the paint it wouldn’t not damage the paint. Also I learned about the different tips such as the 1.8 to 2.0 is great for primer and the other Guns above that model are for spraying the paint. Wow I learned a lot from this awesome video and keep them coming. Thank you and I hope I’m a winner well either way I’m a winner because I learned a lot from your videos. Awesome job Tony! You make it look so easy. Gordon

1:17, The eraser wheel is something I haven't seen before. I will have to get one and try it. 5:34, It's good to see that I'm not the only one who gets imperfections when spraying primer. If Tony gets them also then I'm not doing so bad. 14:35, Good tip on hot to fix foggy headlights. I will try this on my wife's car when I repaint it later this year.

Well Tony another great video .....I missed out before when you offered a Free shirt..... 1. @ 2:07 - 2:13 when mixing body filler 8-10 drops hardener for every golf ball size filler.... (I always screwed this up either too much or not enough? 2. @14;04 - 14.35 masking tape should be removed 2-4 hours after painting to be prevent the paint coming off with the tape if you wait too long... 3 @14:35 - 14:45 I learned something new sanding head lights with 800 grit SP and then 2 coats of clear to make them look like new....... Tony I dont know if it was just the angle of the camera but it looked like who ever was spaying the color was about 3 or 4 inches away from the body ...Maybe you can clarify?? If I dont win a tshirt this time around I could sure use a gunbud I wont paint my next project with out one....

23:15, Body filler 8 to 10 drops to a golf ball size, I cannot see those drops I like using the paste and I use all-metal body filler. 23:30, I have several spray guns and I have a 1.7 for high built primer so 1.8 to 2.0, 23:40 I always use primer on a plastic bumper. But being 66 my eyes not as good as they used to be.

Tony do I have to go to school to be a auto detailer because I rather just do auto detailing working for myself but would need to get more experience under at it because I want to be working for myself before 50 so 8 years from now I know I actually really like auto detailing but never had a job working for a place that does auto detailing yet but have looked at jobs that do. Plus have went through a lot more jobs since 2013 and I know for a fact I really want to work for myself and I see am ready for it now.
