Great job but it wasn't easy seeing that commando sole andnheel ripped off 😂 would you keep the sole and heel too use again or just bin it ?

Hi Antony! Would you be able to replace the top 3 eyelets with speed hooks, at your South Elmsall place, on a new pair of Loake Niro's I've just ordered please? Or would I have to nip them across to you in Donny? Cheers

@@shoehealer8853 No problem, I only live 10 mins from the Elmsall shop but I can nip them across to you. Do I need an appointment? They are black boots so would want black speed hooks if possible please? Unless you think replacing all eyelets to an antique bronze or other colour might give them a bit more of a unique look?

Hi Shoe Healer. I recently bought a pair of Trickers boots second hand. Jutya Watanabe to be precise on a commando sole in my regular size but they are tight and hurt to wear. I have enough room to wiggle my toes but they are pressed against the sides. Would you advise on going to a cobblers to get them professionally stretched at all? Or do you think they may eventually stretch from regular wear? Thank you.

I have had a pair of shoes stretched by them. Give then a ring they do a postal service if you aren't local.

@@waynemoate9401 Thanks for replying. I just wonder if it's even worth doing at all. As the leather is very stiff and I see conflicting advice online.

@@Pomegranate_David if they are hard feed them with a decent conditioner like Saphir and wear them and walk around in them as it soaks in and drys, the conditioner softens the leather, allowing it to give a little, I'm not a fan of stretching leather.

Hi David. If they are really uncomfortable then yes get them stretched. Or send them to us and we can do them for you.
