I’ve only done 59mm shocks, tires, low range gears, and high clearance links for actual performance improvements that I’ve boughten and then I’ve made my own custom flex blades, major clearance trimming on the bumpers and sunk them in a few mm for better approach angles, took windows out on bronco body because I’m lazy when wanting to unplug the battery and get ride of some top weight as well major wheel well clearance. Now I’m working on making skid plates that come off the frame to the body! My truck crawls better then a lot of fully built trucks I’ve seen on KZfaq. Now I just need to make up my mind on weather to actually do portals or not

Mixing manufacturers has been an interesting experience for me. I have a scx24 transmission with a fcx24 rear axle trx4m front axle and scx24 angry Sparrow chassis with gladiator links. Furitek esc/motor, 4ws, custom gt5 with a thumb knob.

@@pissedrhino It's pretty underwhelming lol. I only have a fcx24 with light mods and a Furitek Cayman to compare it to. The Cayman was a disappointment, the fcx24 is awesome for what it is though it was my first crawler and got me hooked.

With the new trx4m high trail they say the rear drive shaft is longer, maybe when that is released that drive shaft may be long enough to work

Thanks for the info but these hot racing driveshafts work. The gpms design is just shorter for some reason.

Very nicely done. All my rigs are modified which makes this hobby fun. The trailing arms look great. Had those my 1/10 bomber. Where did u get the body wraps from. Thanks

Body wrap guy asks $300 a wrap so if I were you I would pass. I did it once but never again.

@@pissedrhino wow. Freqeskins use to do nice once but for cars here in USA like axial rigs. How do like the frunctionality of the ripper. I bought a few things from injora I was not happy with. My shocks with brass rod ends came with the wrong lower pivot balls. Just won’t to make sure I would be getting better stuff sense u have to wait three weeks for orders lol.

The lower links arent designed to have two shocks! its for you to adjust your spring rates easier to really dial in your rear suspension

Yea my bad I’m used to the 1/10th scale ones where they do it for letting you adjust spring rate mostly only the desert truck builds use both. For 18th scale seems pointless to use two

@@Ethericbikes well, I think the point is you can turn a trx4m in to a desert truck or a pre-runner as I'm doing with the stock body build. It's all about trying new things and having fun. If someone is doing something different it does not mean it's wrong.
