Depends if the electric parking brake motor is dead then you gotta remove the motor and manually release it on the caliper.

I thought it was for a mic or to plug in an mp3 player. I paid no attention to it cuz I didn't need to touch it for anythings I needed to do. Since I could ground that main relay at the pcm with my test light I knew the wire from that relay across to the pcm is good. And when cranking the pcm was sending power to the main relay under cranking. So I knew that the pcm had the ability to control the relay it just didn't have the ability to ground it.

Does the manual HRV have an electronic parking brake too? I hope not.

Yea the manual also has an electronic parking brake. You can release it the same way as the auto just need to put the seat belt on and ride the clutch a bit and it'll auto release if your switch isn't working.

@theoffroadingmechanic oh the pay is correct. But we have a guarantee. If the check was wrong my box would be on a truck so fast their head would spin.
