Good to know about that tail light socket. I do lots of these horns. Usually causes LIN bus issues with the battery sensor because it shares the same fuse.

Yea I had another one today blown fuse horn didn't work and a charging system message on the dash.

Also good to know the horn on the accord will short out and blow the horn fuse but that horn fuse is shared with the battery sensor and you get a charging system warning on the dash.

I have owned different variances of Honda Accord from 80s and 90s…never once experienced any issues with any of the horn. Nowadays, parts suppliers from North America are absolutely garbage. Honda should bring all manufacturing and parts suppliers back to Japan.

That horn will sometimes short and blow the fuse which shares the same fuse for the battery sensor and you get a charging system warning on the dash.

Cool trick with the taillight and being a perfect fit. Iirc, seem I had a horn on a vehicle that wasn't working, just gave it few taps, light hits, worked. Not saying that would have worked here, just sharing. EZ fix here.

I should have titled how a hoarder finds use of old parts 😆 but it helps when your by yourself and don't have anyone to push the horn while ur using a test light to check if there is power and ground.
