@@TheFounderUtopia saw him twice, but was really lucky to catch one of his practice gigs to test out new material. It only cost a fiver and was in a 30 seater small comedy club so we were only a meter away from him. Was amazing value ticket

The show was produced by British Channel 4, but Dylan Moran (Bernard) is an Irish comedian. Grahama Linehan, who not only wrote Father Ted (Irish, but again produced by BBC) wrote the first series of Black Books with Moran. They are both Irish. It's only a British show in how it was produced/where it was shown.

Yes, but since the owner of the bookstore is Irish (both character and actor), and he's the one attending the shop the customer service is Irish. Which is the title of the video. Which says nothing about the show being Irish.
