Don't blame the weather for an excuse to fly tiny whoops. The reason people fly tiny whoops is because they are awesome and many of us fly year round lol!
@NordFPV

I wouldn't say I'm blaming the weather, I'm more thinking like the weather is helping me to get more into tinywhoops. I can see better now why people like you are flying them full time, and I'm liking it!

Its not just a winter thing. I often fly whoops in summer indoors to avoid the heat. I fly predominantly outside in winter when it is comfortable.

I think that is what Ignas was expressing at the end of his part, he likes flying tinywhoops because of flexibility. In my case I’m liking it to because it requires less preparation than flying big drones. I think you should read the winter part as our initial motivation to get into tinywhoop but not the ONLY reason to fly them.

Another upgrade you should consider is the frame - Mobula/Mobeetle do great in a Meteor 65 pro, and it allows you to bump the props from 31 to 35 which feels amazing. You do need to modify the frame a bit and likely flip the AIO to make it fit.

Thanks for sharing! I would recommend looking at what CiottiFPV has to say regarding HDZero and Walksnail for these tiny drones. For the 65mm frames, it seems they just get too heavy with a HD system while the 75mm and up is a good platform. That said, I'm just too new to give my own opinion on this topic. The tiny whoops are a lot of fun and happy to see more people getting into flying them :) Greatings from Norway. 👋

Thanks! Walksnail is a bit too heavy for these drones. It’s because of this I’m selling again analog in my shop, but just in tinywhoops. Ciotti knows his things but it’s difficult to find his knowledge in a condense form. His videos are all like 2 hrs long 😂.

@@NordFPV It is indeed. I'm having problems affording all the digital stuff. Just too expensive. So, I personally will stick to analog. Also, analog is still good enough and a good entry level I think. :) Oh yeah, that's the biggest drawback with his channel. Although, some of his videos do have timestamps. I also see people add timestamps in the comments. But yeah, still need to look for it in an nontraditional way.

Stick it on a mob 75 frame with the 1002 and you'll be happy or analog on 75 with the 23000 and you're ripping too. 65 isn't as happy for hdzero. 75pro with the 1002 is great too (i've tested the poop out of all of these you might enjoy my channel) Also I feel like your flying 15-20 degrees bump it to 30 and you'll have to pitch less making it smoother less correcting!

I've been able to build a walksnail 65mm whoop and get it to about 23 grams, I am using 0702SE motors (the new light weight ones) from betafpv, that saves about 1.6 grams and then I replaced the antenna with a simple monopole antenna to save another gram. I have been told that I would get better performance from an EX0802 motor, which is what you removed from your mob6... But I feel that my build is pretty awesome to fly, I just wish i could get a little more from each battery, I get about 2.5 minutes of cruising, and 1:45 if i'm punching out and doing hardcore flips and stuff, but I have never flown it til it blacks out, so i might have my voltage alarm set too high. Here's to experimenting and trying different motors and props for these tiny builds. I remember not long ago my analog 65mm builds were 25+ grams! LOL

I have a moblite7 V3 walksnail whoop. The flight times are shockingly short. My analog Meteor75 Pro has super long flight times. I am guessing the digital VTX is sucking the juice but to be really sure I need to put the walksnail gear on the Meteor75 Pro and see what happens.

@@TakeItToTheGround I have a custom built 75mm using a few weight savings tweaks i got it around 28-29 grams, I fly webleed 1s 450mah bt2.0 packs, motors are 0802 27,000kv, i get a solid 4 minutes, 5 min if i'm just cruising. Make sure to flash your ESC firmware with blu-jay and use 96khz. Get a flight controller that has blackbox so you can actually tune your whoop for once, and then once its tuned use the blackbox for gyroflow.

@@imothy I bought an off the shelf moblite 7 walksnail V3 as part of a bundle when I purchased walksnail X goggles from Caddx. It already has bluejay 0.192, 96 kHz, bi directional & seems setup correctly in betaflight. I think what is killing the flight times is the weight. A porky 35 grams, plus 12 grams of battery. I guess I can't complain as I think it only cost an extra $60 USD in the bundle.

Are there any 2S batteries with BT 2.0 connectors available or is that just for 1S batteries? Looks really good to have it straight on the battery like that. I am about to get a Mobula 8 so I will probably have both 1S and 2S.

I actually recorded this to have it in the video but I forgot to add it... I get around 2.50-3 min, flying until I lose video in the HDZero VTX. The trick was the 96K WPM Bluejay change and the Tattu batteries. With some other (BetaFPV) batteries, I don't get even 2 min.

I'm sorry, I can't really answer that question. I made the change following someone else's recommendation, but kind of blindly. What I do know is that I got a bit of extra flying time doing that change. Why? I have no idea, but it is.

Hi. They are compatible as long as you buy the right versions. Like a ELRS radio and a ELRS drone. About goggles, do a good research. There are too many. I still use my old fatshark HDO2, but I think there are better options these days.
