In fact, as much as I enjoy Murray's incredibly infectious positive vibes and how animated and expressive his face gets; I equally love how each of you appear so enthusiastic for your hobby interests, and each bring your own distinct insights and mindsets to projects. Would love to see a video with your Baneblade build. I am also planning to build in a bellygun for my Stompa, but I am using a spare gun from a Basilisk I re-purposed into a recovery vehicle. So seeing how you build and modified your Stompa was a big inspiration.

I hope that Murray turns his second Baneblade in to an Imperial mobile Cathedral-shrine to battle the Stompa. A copy of the Warhammer Graveyard could be a good kit to bash with the Baneblade for that.

You can take a kustom Stompa to use the belly gun it and the gaze of mork are in the imperial armour compendium apart from that there are a few options like a klaw or lifta dropa or use the normal weapons and Stompa kit

I bought a stompa when it first came out. I assembled it and that's it. Its sat in parts around boxes in my room. Oh well.

I have probably wanted an ork stompa for 13 years but still haven't gotten round to getting one or any other BIG ork kits. my ork army is all trukk's and deffkopta's. When I have a decent sized hobby space maybe i will finally make the leap.

Be neat if they made orc stompas be more varied, I want a crab stompa with rockets on the legs to make it walk faster.

back when apocalypse was first released, but before this model was, i made 2 of them out of balsa wood that with the exception of them being a little wider, looked exactly like the photos in the book. when the games workshop had a event for superheavies i brought them and my reviant titan in. the one guy who used to cheat and manipulate games said he had one too and took out this box with legs. then i pulled mine out, shut him down in seconds, then beat him in the mini tournament to win the leather 4.1 rule book. great day...

Assembling my first stompa was a nightmare. I was endlessly exasperated from the various gaps and poor instructions (first models were gunpla), and yet I intend to build another one. Biplane style flying fortress for the glory of Gork and Mork

as a guard player a lot of my stuff up till now is all 2005 dated XD so when i build anything new like the Vet guard or the new Egg boys from Votan its a big head scratch for it all to only fit really 1 way haha

The instructions are from the post golden age of GW, when common sense prevailed and almost endless different custom models could be made. Now if you follow the kits instructions you get 2 or 3 at most of different poses, but that’s just what you CAN make with the kit, needing you to buy 3 boxes to make all the poses. It’s clear that they want younger people to get into the hobby but they’ve pushed the older generations out as they’ve done so. I personally loved when arms were arms and legs were legs and you could easily mix and match to give your army true diversity, but now they have multiple notches or ridges that only fit a certain body and forces a certain pose. If GW wants only one kit’s bits to work with the same kit and none other, while simultaneously forcing a handful of poses they should just go back to Mono Pose single piece models.

The instructions that come with this model are awful 😂 I'm currently working on this myself and having so much fun!

Building the stompa is really the worst of both worlds. It’s got all the vagueness of a mid 2000s build but all of the monopose of a modern kit
