A walk around bed is a non-negotiable for me, too. Using a king-size bed sideways is a brilliant way to make it fit in a bus! You can standard sized bedding on that mattress, plus easily make the bed without crawling on your hands and knees. That headboard worked out beautifully :) A comfortable bed and a good night's sleep are so worth it!

so Paul - how long will y'all be staying in the bus this winter? I hear its pretty rough in the winter there. If planning to stay .. consider putting bales of hay around the bus for blockage and insulation.. and y'all need some insulating curtains -
