The move to more games and the joy you're finding in them is nice to see. I started watching your main because of how much you enjoyed playing troll levels, and I'm glad to see that branch out, despite the efforts of trolls in the comments.

@josecarlosmalafaia894 Really enjoyed it! It's like Slay the Spire in space, but easier. The humor was great and the plot was simple but engaging.

A really cute detail is that Isaac names all of the Jupiter drones after Jupiter’s moons

If Carl's still on his roguelike/deckbuilder arc, I HIGHLY recommend Wildfrost, another roguelike deckbuilder with some really cool mechanics, on top of a cute art style and banger soundtrack.

This game is wonderful, good music, cute pixel art, enjoyable characters. I hope Carl plays more of this, I will definitely watch all of the episodes.

Watching you play games revolving around strategy and puzzles is so much fun. I really love watching your brain work and seeing how you methodically figure things out, and seeing your really bubbly/positive personality is really entertaining to me! Thank you so much for making videos like these!

CARL! You are literally playing all the games I know and love. This past like year or however long it's been since Minecraft lol this is so cool, glad you are finding joy in all these different games man, you are great x

The accidental click on the peri energy artifact was one of the best mistakes I've ever seen (and I've made a lot of mistakes in this game)

I watched practically this entire vod. Damn this game is entertaining to watch. The gorgeous pixel art mixed with beautiful music and puzzling gameplay, and the way everything is so intuitive, and based on only three mechanics: Attack, Evasion, and Defense, make it so easy to follow unlike some other card games. ^^

I love this game, it's excellent, and the story is excellent, especially what happens when you unlock all the characters and do all their stories. I hope you play this more, I love this game.

Waiting for Carl to discover Balatro... I liked this game, but it just didn't stay with me in the way Slay the Spire did

Yeah cobalt core is cute, but slay the spire is more engaging. I'm up to A5 on all characters except Ironchad rn. My friend got me to try SpellRogue and it is also crack btw.
@HappleProductions2 ай бұрын
Cobalt Core is amazing, up until you reach true ending. At that point it's just like... Well, now what? Love the game, love the characters, and the memory mechanic is so good for character and world-building, but it eventually reaches a point where you are done with it. Which is fine, in my opinion.

This game is awesome, I'm glad more people are discovering it thanks to your stream. Though... I'm not sure where you got the "Dinosaurs in Space" idea. I don't think any of them are actually dinosaurs...

If you haven't heard of it, you should look up "A True Story" by Lucian of Samosata. It's a greek oddessey that features space travel, aliens, and might be the earliest surviving Science Fiction story

OOOH this game is so sick! I feel like Cobalt Core is one of the most fun and unique roguelikes in a long time, it just ran out of content pretty quick in my opinion. Outside of completionist reasons, the post-game feels kind of sparse. Still one of my favorite roguelikes in the past several years though! Also similar to several of the other comments down here, I would highly recommend Balatro, it has become my new gaming addiction lol

With most games I agree that mods aren't necessary at all unless you're fiending for more content, but I think FTL's multiverse mod is one of my favorite mods of all time, for any game. It more than quadruples the content in the game, at the cost of being a tiny bit jank. I do think you should at least get a solid grasp of FTL before you try the mod, but if you like FTL and get into it, you will probably REALLY like the mod. It also makes the game generally much more balanced, as the main game has some balance issues at higher difficulties.

OK DR. CARL I'VE WAITED PATIENTLY!! I do really love slay the spire and this game looks so cool but... WHERE IS THE ZELDA AT I NEVER GOT TO SEE YOUR REACTIONS TO THE NEXT AREAS!!! YOU DON'T HAVE TO WAIT THIS LONG FOR THE SWORD TO GET DONE FROM BIG GORON!! I also just saw you commented on someone's comment about how so many games pull you in different directions and how you feel like deleting the channel go at your own pace i said the stuff at the top as a joke I love watching you play the games I love and if you don't finish Oot don't worry about it you are playing the games you want to play and there is nothing wrong with that
@tom.prince2 ай бұрын
With comments like these, it is unlikely he will return to Zelda.

@tom.prince2 ай бұрын
@@crowdedcrouton I did, though I didn't catch all of it until just before posting. On mobile, all you can of your comment without expanding is negative, and that is also the part of your comment where you are shouting. I don't think that adds any value to the comment section, and simply increases the amount of negativity in them.

In his twitch chat he has a command !zelda to explain how he feels. But essentially I think he got a bit worn down by everyone telling him how to play that game and eventually just wanted to play games that he wanted to enjoy himself. He says he might return to it, might not, if he does maybe on stream, maybe not on stream. It’s all very much in the air. I think it’s okay to let Carl do what he wants to do ^^ I do miss it too but I mean, ya can’t do too much when someone doesn’t wanna play something.
