Today marks our 5 year wedding anniversary. The time flew by, it feels like we just met yesterday! To celebrate this very special day we decided to take our kids on a staycation in San Diego at the Omni La Costa Resort! This was a very fun family friendly hotel where our kids really enjoyed the pool and water slides. My wife and I agreed to no gifts for our anniversary and just our little vacation but I surprised her with a very special gift that had her in tears and brought back all of our memories! Spending this day with our son and daughter made it that much more special.

Abella is the sweetest. The pain in her eyes when she said "I forgot to get you a present" almost brought me to tears. She's a thoughtful, loving little girl. Honestly, if I had kids like Abella and Neo, no way would I want to go on anniversary without them! They are both your greatest joys.

Travel tip: Always have a stock shoes of Neo in car trunk because he's not yet aware his get-up going out is not complete to call attention.

@TLEGRM-The_CAN_Family_official OMG 😳 you're my absolute favorite family. I just want to cuddle Abella and Neo. I knew the doctor's at U of MI that invented the Coclear Implant. Sadly one was killed at the hospital. I was dragged down I-75 and hit by a car 2 yrs later. Both uninsured so no settlement. I've endured 70 surgeries, 23 broken bones, amputation at the hip 14 yrs later. I just turned 13 when it happened. 23 broken bones, 6 months in traction in the U of MI Burn Unit. Horrible 3 dressing changes per day. Never able to see my parents on surgery days. I also cannot be in the sun which is unrelated. I sweat profusely even with central air from my meds for excruciating phantom limb pain. 1400+ days as an inpatient. My heel screwed to my other foot 2x and calf once. Had to learn to walk 6x. Spent years in rehabilitation. I did play Para Ice Hockey with the Men's Travel Team and within months after going to the rink and being coached 3 hours each day on the ice I made the Women's USA National Paralympic Team. Sad thing is I can't compete because of the sun, traveling and overheating. I live through watching other's lives here and I'm broght to tears. You're a remarkable father and Krystal is a wonderful Mom. You absolutely made my day. I'm so proud of you. You're family are Warriors. A true blessing to all who know you. Please forgive me for sharing part of me with you. I couldn't have children because of the accident. I'm struggling. I really hope you respond. All my love and hugs. Take time to dream and enjoy.
