I was recently asked to help out with renovating the sound booth at
church. We were getting a new sound system and as part of that we needed to pull the soundbooth forward so it was no longer under the balcony, which interfered with good listening at the mixing board.
This was a big project involving a lot of people and I just snapped a
few still photos along the way. (Some of which are shown here)
My main contribution was the design and construction of the three
desks that were being fitted into the new and expanded booth.
When it was all complete we were left with two odd-shaped gaps on either side of the new booth and my final task was to bring back some of the curved pews which had been removed and cut them down and fit them into that odd shaped space.
So I set up my action camera to shoot a timelapse of the procedure. This was done in the evening, without supplemental lighting, and the church is a really big space, so the photos are a bit grainy. But I thought someone might find this interesting
