I see that you marked the pipe at 1 1/2", 3", 4 1/2" & 6". If i wanted a 12" long elbow, i would just mzrk my pipe at 3", 6", 9" & 12"? Correct?

are those sspacings for any diameter pipe I've just made the first cut on 8inch stainless flue and second cut does not clear the piipe at your 3inch spacing. I'm thinking in's only suitable for the 6 inch is it? you demonstrate with. Cheers Neil

Wouldn't it just have been easier to turn the pipe over 180° after every cut? That way you didn't have to change the angle on the saw.

You could... but you need two center lines along the pipe on the *exact* opposite sides to do so... otherwise lining up the faces of the elbow correctly level/square/90 degrees matching the rotation of 4 parts to find them would be near impossible

Sorry sir,,ye koi formula nehi hai,,ye simple cutting tricks hai,,me sirf 60mm OD pipe ko istemal kiya..Isse jyada OD ke pipe me sayad ye tricks kaam nehi bhi kar sakta,,, Par 60mm pipe ke liye ye sahi tricks hai
