NellyZ yes it will. Because styling is key to the look. It’s a great haircut and he did it better than I would have, clearly he has done it several times. But to get that look it needs to be styled correctly.

So I saw this video kzfaq.info/get/bejne/qqdnrZmmvZeZnps.html And decided that's what I wanted. (people commented it's called a shag haircut.) I got it done and it looks terrible but I don't think the hair stylist did it right since my hair goes from around my nose length to my shoulder length almost immediately. I think it could be worth a shot though. It grows back if you don't like it. If my layers were blended a little more I think it would look great. (My hair is wavy also.)

This cut eliminated weight from the bottom and pushes it more towards the crown of the head. With your description I would do this cut but leave it longer.

@@pinds83 They're not showing the entire process. This is like doing open heart surgery and not bothering to show the part where you close the patient. It's dishonest; if more is done, show the rest.

@@signalfire6 It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out they did some styling afterwards. Don't get so bent out of shape about it. You could use a curling iron or just diffuse your natural curl. It's really not a big deal. I gave myself this exact haircut and all I do is use some light oil, curl cream, and dry my hair with a diffuser until my hair is about 50% dry. It looks almost as curly as the after, without the use of any curling iron. Btw, if you watch an open heart surgery, see the patient on camera afterwards alive and conscious, but didn't see the surgeon close up the patient, it should be pretty obvious that they did so. It's not dishonest of them, you just don't have any common sense.

Lindsey Pindsey the reason I am all bent out of shape (I’m a licensed hairdresser) is because people see this and go, “oh I want this because I want to look like her every day”. That’s unrealistic if you aren’t willing to put in the work for the look. That’s why it’s a big deal.
