I could NEVER have done this without your video!! I am a pretty good (and experienced) cook but I've never cooked wings. I didn't even know it had 3 parts!! Cutting them was psychologically traumatizing, but this video helped make it so much easier! Next time I pay more and buy drummettes!

well my first experience of cutting chicken wings has definitely inspired me to throw away my $10 walmart knive set and spend some money on something that could actually cut through something

I viewed some videos earlier tonite for some tips to cut up chicken wings. I had a bit of trouble. I just viewed your video and find myself wishing I had more wings to cut up cuz I think I could nail it now. You explain VERY well. Thank you!

Thank you. I know this video is almost 9 years old but after watching several other videos explaining the same idea, it was THIS video that helped me. It was the way you held your knife and explained as you cut off the drummet. Once I watched you do that I went into the kitchen and removed my whole wings out of the fridge, got my cutting board and knife and went to work. I was upset that I didn't see your video the day before. A part of my hand was sore from smacking down on the clever. I of course did not use a clever after watching your video. I used a chef's knife. Once again, thank you and I am going to share this video.

You can also control the quality of chicken. I've been disappointed many times buying pre-made chicken wings for parties.

It's not necessary to separate the wing from the drummettes, it's personal preference. But cut off the tip.

Man you gotta have the sharpest knife in the world. I swear i can't do this. My drummets look soooooo ugly. Every person doing these videos knife is the sharpest! I'm convinced my knife must be fully but it's new.. and barely used.. so i don't understand ..
