I always tell my customers that it must be in a garage or outside. My insurance won't cover me going into the house. I don't want to risk damage, and quite honestly, I'm getting too damn old to be doing stairs, too!!

I just drill a hole net to the bead and cut the bead with a sawzall or angle grinder. falls right off

Scrappin has thinned out lots n lots since iw as a boy,all the oil feild boom stuff gone! i grew up with ledgend scrappers,always hauling huge stuff in!winch truck trailers they would build,my dad was a red kneck engineer!lol lol built a crane out of an old truck put a huge boom on it azels for the winch or cabel!lol moter n seat backwards ran it fwrd back wards,used bridfge beams to crush old cars n load em!lol lolproud proud warm God fearin childhood!lol lol

Unless you have a drag cup on the torch you should hold the tip off of the metal your cutting. It’ll cut better and last longer.

Sorry to hear you have the crud, a buddy and myself made 2 scrap yard runs today and he had it too. Chances are I'll have in a few days as close as we were for 8 hours, we were doing the runs today. Prices are looking pretty good in our area, 195 for shred, and .55 for cans, not sure what we got for copper, brass, alum., short and such. Never thought about using a plasma cutter on rims like that before. Hope you get to feeling better soon.
