FREE Seadoo Speedster Jet Boat Repaired With JB WELD!

Күн бұрынIntroducing our Seadoo jet boat we were recently given. It needed a lot of repairs. This includes a "repair" consisting of JB WELD on the cylinder jug to stop the water jacket from leaking.

Job weld will work for that, providing you do the prep work to get it to adhere.....your good.

Hey men quick question I’m actually buying one tomorrow a 1998 one The seller said needs new carburetor and adjust the throttle cable. Now how did you find all the parts you need to replace? Book?

There are a couple of seadoo forums that I read up on and the motors I have in mine are the same models I had in some jetskis a few years ago so I was already a little familiar. Carbs are pretty generic once you figure out which version they had. I bought some things from amazon and some from SBT.

What year is this boat? I recently bought a 96 speedster that had trees growing in it for $300 and a 2000 Challenger that has one of the motors running for $900. My Speedster has the same coloring as yours, but my Challenger has the same seating configuration and fwd/rev and steering cable configuration as yours. I’m going to get both of them up and running and sell one of them. Does yours have single or dual carbs? My 6 has duals and my 2000 has singles. Someone deleted the oil system off my 2000, so I might need to get that reinstalled.

It is a 1997. Twin engine twin carb Rotax 720s. I wouldn't reinstall the oil system. Run mix and never have to worry about an oiling failure again. I may block off my oilers next summer.

@@cvsahara how do you lubricate the lower half? Both of mine have twin engine Rotax 717’s the 96 is twin carbs and the 2000 has single carbs.

I don't know yet. We are on a seasonal lake that has just been brought back up. We will probably take the boat out of storage in a couple of weeks
