My first run at the CW-01 Creations Tamiya DT-02 Speed Challenge by Peter Smith. The buggy has more in it but room to run was/is a factor in the case.
48mph or 77.+ kph isn't bad...
The buggy did not lift the front wheels unless I got very aggressive with the trigger..
Peter, if my tires & lipo choice is wrong, let me know... I can make changes..
Oh, all stock gearing with a 19 tooth pinion.
I am using my Losi No Prep Drag Car Rear Tires...
**I meant to type DT-02 NOT DT-01** as stated in the title card.

Holy Crap Bob, that thing was flying 😂 Wheels and tyres are your choice and that dumpy 2s lipo was doing its business in that chassis. You are definitely at the top of the list, thats for sure. Well Done Sir 👍👍👍

Thank You Sir... Might be at the top now but I'm sure others will be faster... That said, that lot I was at is really small and I could not go all out... I'll get out again and try, maybe find a country road less traveled and really open her up...

7am???? God that's early!!! The guy just casually rolls up first thing in the morning, does one pass and absolutely rinses it straight to the top of the leader board!! Fair play Bob, awesome run my friend. I noticed you were running a high discharge 100c lipo..... great move, I think ours are only 70c. After seeing this run, I'm kinda glad that we are sticking in the brushed category!! Great entry buddy. 😊 👍 👍 👍

I was up at @ 5am, made java, charged up a pack, put the crap in the truck, drank 3 cups of mud... Yeah, it's kind of a cheat really but I'm sure I wont be the only one using a high voltage 2S lipo pack... It's more the motor that makes the power.. I will be getting out again soon and hope to find a bigger lot or a nice quiet country road (I live in the sticks, no city life). Wait to you see the body I'm putting on it (might not stay on but looks cool)...

@@yodadarksideGreenHawksRC That lipo pack is the one I use in my Super Avante but I haven't used it in a while so I figured why not use the battery, you know, keep them in rotation...

Thanks man.... I need to find a back country road less traveled and open her up.. This is the same system I used in the Poor Boys TT-02 speed challenge minus the 3S lipo pack.

Thanks Dude!!!! As I said, there is more in this buggy but I didn't have the room to run it out. I might be in first for now, but I'm sure others out there are way faster..

Brother, I twisted my own arm to get my a$$ out to get a run done (I had the Brushless Clod with me also, but had steering issues).. That church lot is way too small for the system I used in the TT02 speed challenge. Might have to find a country road less traveled and try again.
