What is your amperage setting and did you play around with it in between passes and how long did you wait in between passes? Thank you

Hi, Tyler . I like 130~135amps for horizontal stick welding. and i just waited 1min between passes😎😎

I'm so confused, I thought the first pass is a straight through for horizontal on fillet side (90 degree). 2nd Pass is the stop at 2/3 (beveled 30 degree) and then restart.

Hi Thanks for leaving a comment! I don't know if the CWB exam is a little different depending on the region or the inspector, but this time my CWB ticket has been renewed after 2 years. First pass was the stop at 2/3(90 dgree), and second pass was the stop at 1/3(30 degree). But before the test, the inspector will explain and start the test, so it will be most accurate.🔥🔥🔥

At what angle do you need to hold your electrode?

I don't know the exact angle, but I think it's about 100-110 degrees. However, it's more important to remember the welding puddle from the video than to value the angle. thanks for watching! 😎😎

No need to stop and start on top bevel only one on the fillet side and you can use a wire wheel grinder but note no grinding discs or file allowed

You've really got to learn to clean those welds. Your second fill passes were covered in slag. There's no way this passed the bend test.

The stop is supposed to be on the beveled side not the square side

You are wrong. There is only one tie in on the top bevel side
