The x on the light is to let others know on the street that you race😉 or they have a toy hanging from the rear bash bar of the car like a toy......... its for street racing/drifting

The toy is for drifters the X usually is for autocross or cheap racecar builds

It used to be done with glass headlamps in some racing series to keep the glass shards from going everywhere, but people mainly do it for style these days. Looks kind of silly on modern plastic headlamps
