Sell it to Frieberger and Finnigan over at Roadkill. They'd love to do a beater/Mad Max rebuild on that car. Hell, sell it to me for the same purpose. Headlights, a squirter bottle, once aorund the suspension to be sure everything's roadable, weld up some tube bumpers, spraybomb the whole shiteroo and away you go.

I would hazard a guess that the car makers are falling over themselves trying to give the show a car for the series.

I think they either have a good deal on the cars or as you’ve said they are given away for the show. Fans then watch the show and they get a little advertising each show when the car is shown. After the show the car is parted out for its interior and engine components. Has anyone seen a previous season car on the road or at auction? The indicator van from season 6(?) is the only one I’ve seen.

@@disneyfan9099 Even if the damage was not reported to insurance, it can be sold as a wrecked or parts-only car. Some salvage auctions might be willing to sell it too, if CWD approached the owners. I suspect that its condition is no worse than some of the cars that have been totalled. Yes its value is greatly depriciated now, but I suspect it could be sold for scrap, parts, or to someone buying a wrecked project car to rebuild.
