Thank you so much for the guide man. I always wanted to go with Assault Rifles but I thought they were not so efficient as other guns like silenced pistol and snipers until I saw this. Well, looks like I'll revert back from my sniper build with cool tree to this amazing AR build. Thank you so much again.

It was quite a challenge. You can even consider using the chrome compressor in this build, if you can let go from Sandevistan.

Thank you, I have learned some new things from this. I also tested your build. The mitigation chance cyberware you mentioned work really well combined. It was not completely invincible, but close to it. Mostly enemy sniper shots can hit hard. For me the expensive cyberware that added a bunch of armor, are less important now and I can shave capacity by using the mitigation cyberware. I noticed also getting mitigation chance from Pyromania stacks + Heat Shield with weapons that deal explosive damage. For a long time I always blindly used Blood Pump + Biomonitor in all my builds. I guess that is not needed and also here some capacity can be saved. A while ago the Guilotine X-mod with Firecracker was the best power weapon, with the reduce recoil cyberware you mentioned. I tested it again and the Prejudice came on top this time. Overall rifle builds still seem on the weak side. Katana builds have an easier time dealing with MaxTac.

Yes, I was also thinking about chrome processor, its one of the few builds where it makes actually sense. I only fonud Sandevistan useful for fighting maxtac.

Jesus this build melts very hard. People made 100 videos about netrunners and katana sandi builds, assault rifles were a niche but i think build in this video is the most powerful build after 2.0.

This build is insanely good. Guns in this game have never been so fun! Finally a way to be OP without blades or quickhacks. You can 1-2 shot everyone with the Kyubi/Hawk.

I would like to know your thought on why you did not select Multitasker, Muscle Memory, Can't touch this, and Steady Grip in REFLEX? Can I live without these? Why would you shoot while dashing? No need to waste points on stuff that happens when you dodge or slide. I have never killed an enemy while sliding ever in over 2000 hours of playing this game.

Huh, never thought of using burst guns for stealth kills, but it does make a lot of sense. Considering the shots land before you stop being considered undetected.

Prejudice has 100% additional critical damage it will usually oneshot every enemy in a single burst, if you have your skills maxed out and a silencer with 150% stealth damage. When your skill progression is maxed out it will be godlike.

If I have a perk point to spare do you recommend getting the perk Built Different and replace Carapace with Cellular Adapter? It has a cheaper cyberware cost and gives good bonuses as well, not to mention the higher armor.

Moron Labe doesnt make it in the top 3 anymore. Carmen and Prejudice are definitely better.

i am currently using your level 30 netrunner build and wanted to ask if the kinetic frame for 16% mitigation chance when high stamina is more important than for example the epimorphic skeleton which you are using here? so in short is mitigation better than pure armor?

The kinetic frame will be least important on higher level as you are almost at 100% chance and half of the chance would be wasted. The skeleton is mandatory, but you can remove the bionic joints if you want to use the kinetic frame.

What about the Umbra X-Mod2 instead of Carmen? Colors easier on the eyes and could slot in weap mods like Swiss Cheese (added Armor Pen.), Big Mag (larger mag size), Firecracker (explosive rounds), etc.

If you find it better you can use it, but many can not get the xmod umbra, because the door is locked for them. The main reason what makes the carmen good is the armor penetration, I would increase it as much as possible.

The prejudice is the only AR that can be used for stealth, and Pride basically the only safe pistol. Her Majesty will also work, but only when cloaked, Death and Taxes is very risky, both bullets of the double shot need to hit. Stealth with guns is very difficult to achieve during early game because your weapons are very weak.

The endings can be replayed and your choices will be reset technically, so it doesnt matter. You will just keep the weapons.

It will be unlocked only in the save which you used to play the ending.

Sorry if this is a dumb question, a bit new to the cyberpunk world! From my understanding, you aren’t able to keep prejudice after the final mission with rogue. So how do you have it past the final mission? Am I thinking of the wrong gun and how do I get it? Thanks for your help!

Every ripperdoc sells the same items. You unlock new items with your level. The iconic cyberware is from dogtown.

This is not related to your rifle build per se but I've read somewhere that increasing your reload speed in this game actually decreases the damage dealt by your weapon. Have you ever heard of such a thing and can you confirm if that holds true for patch 2.12? I'm asking as I am thinking of rerolling reload speed increase for my cyberware stats. Thanks.

I have not measured this. However this game still has weird bugs and behaviors I had to fix a bug in the games database for my character tonight, which simply stopped dying.... Be careful and dont go too extreme on a single value that might be insecure to use.

@@T7PDM Thanks for the reply! I was asking for my tech shotgun Satara build. And yea maybe I shouldn't go too crazy on the reload speed increase since I noticed that in addition to faster loading, I occasionally get faster charge time as well. It's a welcome addition but I think it's yet another bug lol. Speaking of bugs the game is still riddled with them as you said. One that irks me the most is that reflex tuner occasionally triggers upon entering combat and not when you're below 25% hp.

Slowdown on enemy detection and entering combat is usually caused by the synaptics accelerator. However there might be other perks and skills which might cause a similar effect (Such as the one in the left cool tree). I dont think that is a bug. This is generally very helpful as it delays the lose of your stealth damage multiplier.

Does Chipware Connoisseur do anything outside of when you're tiering up cyberware? I always take it off when I leave the ripperdoc.

Chip ware you can take off, but driver update is needed, otherwise you lose the third perk.

Its all good until smasher. I got him with the backup blade which I use for most bosses. You can even modify the build and use berserk, then you will melt every boss. And for everything else you can use your range weapons.

What's your take on cockatrice optics + visual cortex support vs basic optics + deep-field visual interface? i chose the latter for a change, feels like for true long range it wins. If you happen to datamine Visual interface's exact CC formula, would be interesting to know at which distance it starts outperforming the Cockatrice's fixed 35% CC. For true enemy melting i use Umbra x-mod2 with (obviously legendary) swiss cheese and either ready steady or big mag, +strigoi; and Guilliotine x-mod2 for an smg over the problem solver, due to greater damage and smaller base spread, also with swiss cheese and steady. I keep the os as the netrunning one for when i need it though, too used to quickhacks.

I think only for shotguns and blades Deep field would be worse, but I see the point of using only 40 capacity for deep field compared to using cockatrice and the normal visual support, which cost 50. I was even thinking about using chrome compressor for this build as Sandevistan is not really needed.

Snipers are still great against normal enemies, especially with Sandevistan, but the best rifle against Maxtac is the Prejudice.

Strange. I've tried a similar build before but I'm not getting anywhere even close to the damage output you're getting. With Pride I easily make 3k+ crit headshots, but with Prejudice it only does around 1k max. The other ARs/SMGs are even worse, just terrible damage even after copying your build exactly.

You probably have to check your damage number settings, and change it to cumulative value, then it displays the triple burst in a single number = 3000 instead of 3x 1000. Also make sure you use the correct silencer and you are in stealth. Multiple bursts on Maxtac will also be cumulated 3x bursts = 9000 Its probably just a settings issue.

@@T7PDM That's what I thought too, but I have both options set to "accumulative". Even fighting maxtac my crit headshots are doing like 700~800 (~2400 for one burst) with the Prejudice. Not sure if I'm doing something wrong or if my game is just bugged.

The Prejuice has a damage boost against high threat enemies. Maybe your difficulty or emenies are not matching the requirements, try to set the game to very hard. 3000+ is easily possible with the correct silencer 150% stealth damage and 18 points on cool. If you dont have the points on cool your damage willl be much lower, because cool gives crit damage.

Immovable Force works with the Ready Steady weapon mod. Only problem with that is that most iconic weapons don't allow additional mod slots.

You get 22 points when you create your character. 59 level ups + 22 points = 81

You are just too close.... For Maxtac you should use the Prejudice and keep your distance, it kills them really quickly as it has a bonus against these high threat enemies. I wiped out entire groups with it. Something which is not possible with a melee Sandevistan build.
