Till close to the end I never started the Peralez quest fearing it was one single quest and then it would be over. Had to search online how to get this quest! xD But yeah, very chilling. Especially the first BD in the cafeteria!

I honestly thought that the peralez was getting affected by a rouge AI? I believe that the rouge AI can implemented other people’s thoughts and memories and make them recall as if it actually happened to you. And the rouge AI can alter you, there’s nothing that The peralez can do. It honestly reminds me of Ghost in the Shell (1995) the interrogation scene with the garbage truck driver and the scene when Motoko and Project 2501 had a very deep conversation. I do believe though that the peralez mission has more disturbing thoughts, in examples the hidden room really scared me because I always feel like there’s someone or something watching me. But the teen kidnapper cow farmer hits me at another level, idk if CDPR intended inspiration from an actual sadistic serial killer, I feel like that it’s an reference to a disturbing case that happened in the 90s.

It's one thing CDPR has over Rockstar. Rockstar didn't want to put kids in their game because they didn't want the players to kill them, however CDPR made kids invincible.

@@Quast I do think the future games will be better. Unlike the Witcher, now that the city is mostly done, they can just add onto that, while focusing on the other elements for the next one.

I think the murderer basically pumped the people full of drugs that were supposed to make them into ‘super-soldiers’ or something like that. Then, the people died due to overdoses. Very weird mission tbh

@@iii8410 What? Super-soldiers? You missed the whole point :D The kids were running away from their, most often than not abusive, families to the "virtual reality" induced by the drugs. They died, because the police shot the mad cow keeper who has been taking care of them. The quest is meant to be vague. The "murderer" is definitely insane, the kids probably didn't knew what it'll be look like and so on. But he believed he is helping them, as he himself didn't have a particularly bright upbringing. The drugs are all about keeping the cows (and later - the kids) in a vegetative state (of happiness), not about creating super-soldiers :D

@@dzonydzas4964 I was wondering about that, too. Granted, with those names like Peter Pan and Tinkerbell being mentioned, it seemed like that was the case. Granted, this Anthony Harris was one sick-minded sonuvabitch. After some further study, I believe he got the whole effed up idea from the idea that when he was that kid tending to the sick cow, the cow was sedated into a euphoric state while being fed sustenance mixed with the drugs originally planned to heal it, and then the trouble occurred. He took that messed up idea from the old cartoon and used it to lure kids from abusive families and troubled backgrounds to his farm, where he would take them to "Neverland" via braindance tech, while those hoods with tubes fed them sustenance. Still, one of the most effed up and disturbing missions in Cyberpunk 2077.
