I just re-downloaded it again just to play round in Night City before starting a new character in 2.0. It's really good to get back to the game. For all its initial flaws, from the very beginning Cyberpunk 2077 was immersive and it's just fun driving around listening to the radio.

This entire update I’m just so excited for! I had just started a new save right when they announced 2.0 and I immediately quit so I can start brand new with 2.0 when it drops! Preordered PL for PS5 the same day preorders dropped!

The hype is insane. If there is one thing CDPR has perfected, it's marketing

I YOLO'd into a 4090 a couple months ago, and I've never been more hyped to finally play Cyberpunk after all these years. I loaded it up to just check out the current path tracing RT and it's Crysis-in-2007 levels of mind blowing. Totally worth the cost of admission.

I going to start a new character when 2.0 is released. Plus, I'll try delaying the update on my console so I can finish my first playthrough. I just finished the Gigs in the City Centre and I really loved the reward the fixer provided.

I'm a bit bummed that nobody's mentioning if driving feels better or not in 2.0... did they possibly worked on improving it? cz with the current version driving still feels iffy :c

I just started playing Cyberpunk this weekend, and I must say I'm impressed. The augmentation procedures in the game really draw me in. I haven't quite tested the open world yet but it should be a treat. The new 2.0 update should make it even special.

Man, I am *SO* going to start a new game on the 21st, and get in as much playing as I can before the 26th when PL is released. I'm every bit as excited for this new version as I was when the game was first released back in December of 2020! Honestly, I just want to take a week's vacation from work and do nothing but play this game. LOL! Of course, I can't do that, but still, it'd be fun. 🙂 This thing feels like the game we should've gotten from the beginning. SO looking forward to it!

Regarding the skill levels going up to 60: we already have that, it's the bonuses you get by levelling each specific skill tree to level 20. They seem to have combined the 3 current skill tree levels (per attribute) so that you won't need to level, for example Athletics to 20 and then Annihilation to 20, but instead you'll level up a more generic role (Solo, Netrunner etc.) by using weapons and abilities tied to each attribute. In some cases attributes only have 2 trees currently, so I guess those will get extended perks, which is only a plus for playstyles like Netrunner or Technical.

Can someone tell me about the Berserk implant, I've seen literally nothing about it.

I’ve been grinding my melee katana build so I can start 2.0 at level 50 and play around with all the new abilities, I haven’t spent a single perk point. Then I’ll make my game to very hard and try to get the “don’t fear the reaper “ ending to test my build.

I made a new character to get through the intro mission but stop the moment Jackie and I got to the hotels. When 2.0 drop, I’ll see if I can continue from there.

I wonder if cdpr have addressed the 'lack of loot' issue with vertical exploration, there's virtually nothing on the higher buildings.

I just got the game recenty, haven't finished the prologue yet so literally restarting would be rather easy but I wonder if it's actually worth it if you're just starting out.

I was one of the few that had very few problems when the game launched. The worst bugs that I came across at that time were floating loot basically. However I had a 1070 at the time so was running the game at mid settings. Sure I didn't say the game was amazing, but I considered it mid tier in quality, which by itself was disappointing. I've beaten it twice and just deleted those saves. I've been fucking stoked to play this game again but I've been waiting for these changes to implement.

I'm probably going to progress all of my builds equally to 40-50 level before going in PL with any of them.

I just need clarification. If I have a save already, what will happen when I update and go back into that save? Will my perk points be reset and given to me to assign based off the new trees?

I think CP2077 are trying to do a NoManSky comeback, if thats the case im all for it. CP setting are one of the coolest world i have played.

Was gonna play Lies of P instead of a new cyberpunk run, but they removed the Lies of P demo and I hear its painfully hard with no way to change it, so sadly, they lost my money by doing that. Stoked for new skills

I stopped playing back in Dec 2020 and have been waiting for a large revamp that could be called 2.0. I have a 4090 and VR headset, so id be interested to see that as well

They had better be unlocking everything that gets locked during game play, as well as once accessible area's that they locked for some reason. I want to fully explore the map before and after the storyline. Not get shut out of large swathes of area's.

why my grenades have a cooldown and dont give us inifinite just keep generades the way they are.... but thats my opinion on that bullet point.

very sad that they increased the minimum and reccomended settings so much that many people who enjoyed the normal cyberpunk with decent fps wont be able to even launch 2.0 or phantom liberty 😭😭😭😟😟😞😞

I bet they still didn't fix the mouse being stuck in photo mode on Ultrawide monitors, it's still broken in 1.6

I have three level 50 characters (one for each background) but I'm totally starting a new toon for the update/expansion. I'm still playing Starfield and I just finished the main story (it's a fun game, not 10/10 but worth the time I played) but I'll gladly take a break from that game to invest myself back into the Cyberpunk world.

This update broke my menu somehow. I can't click start or anything, it's really annoying. I tried deleting all my saved data, and deleted the game and redownloaded it all over.

I want to start over with the dlc and 2.0 but I think I am going to take a V through the game that has completed the game and sitting around 250hrs in the game. I know its going to be hard to avoid spoilers so I do not think I can by starting the game fresh and progressing it slow and naturally like I would prefer. so taking a current V with a ton of eddies and gear through 2.0 and the dlc. I'll make a new V afterwards

I preordered Cyberpunk 2077 for its Day 1 release (back before CDPR threw a spanner into their glowing reputation). Given how badly it reviewed, I decided to wait until enough patches came out, then I decided to wait until getting hold of a PS5. At last I can now take the disc out of the box, install it to my new console, update it to the PS5 version of the game, and all that's left is the release of Update 2.0... We're gettin' so close! I can't wait to FINALLY be able to play this game! XD

Has anything been shared on what will happen if you are in the middle of a gameplay, I literally started the game 3 weeks ago with more than 80 hours of gameplay so don’t feel like starting the whole game from scratch. Will the 2.0 patch impact my current gameplay or only once I finish the game?

I'm really worried, because seems as if the game has been reworked to play melee builds which I will not be happy with, if I wanted to play a hack and slash I'd rather play the Witcher. All the builds they showed were melee and I booed the entire time.

Cyberpunk 2077 save slot limitations are a bummer. Compared to Starfield I can save a lot more save slots.

I will not be starting a new game, i will not grind through that questline a 3rd time fuck that, i have by now done 90% of all the gigs and side quest/jobs. I am still dumbfounded as to why i can not finish the game and reenter the world, but instead i have to indefinitely suspend the main quest at the point of no return, obviously the game was not designed to be replayed from that aspect it was an after thought. I will just play the expansion then uninstall the game again and move on.

Yeah, going to play in VR. But, AFAIK, even 4090 is kinda not enough. It's either high settings with low resolution, or the opposite.

I wish Jackie would come back. Modern day RPG heartbreak...top 10 bittersweet moments in gaming for me...and that spans almost 30 years.

I really hope this game doesn't turn out worse than when it was at lunch because if it is all this hype might actually kill the community. I to prefer it to actually work but I guess we'll never know until it's released because honestly when I was even playing through the newly patched game version they were right most of the bugs were fixed but it also felt like a watered-down version of what we were expecting to get a truly immersive world with reactive AI and smart techniques that would change gaming forever I didn't see it honestly when the game was first launched I also don't technically see it now considering the fact that there wasn't much to do after you finish the game you could play or even replay the Last Quest and fight Atom Smasher but once you completed the game it felt as if the entire game was almost non-interactive you could walk up to people and talk to them but they would only give you one liners or the fact when we saw that cool train trailer when it first launched where you could literally ride a train in nighte city it was also cut out of the actual game I mean granted most people didn't really care for that just seemed like a tedious thing to put in but it's the little things that really make you feel like you're in the city kind of like sitting down where you want to when you want to not just constantly standing just to soak in the vibe of the world but my biggest issue was really just the NPCs because once you finished the game it almost felt like the game was disconnected from you there wasn't much to do after you completed all the quest in the campaign and there was barely anyone to fight except for some goons in some alleyways but even then you still had to go up there and pick fights with them which definitely in a way broke the immersion for me you would think after killing most of their branches they would have something to say to you or even be a little threatening but no instead they just stand there talking to each other completely ignoring that you're even there like you aren't even considered a threat even though you killed so many of them that you would think that they would have built some kind of story around you like a legend but hey if the 2.0 update can fix most of that and actually have a nice DLC launch once it starts I'll be happy but please don't make the AI dumber than they already are most of the time when I'm strolling through night City on the walkway it almost still feels like they're just copies of the same robot I mean damn most of them even walk the same but that's just my worries about the game I want the game to be great but if they're just going to give us another watered-down version give us another game-breaking playthrough I'd rather just play the Starfield game because honestly evenstar field has immersive contact where you can actually talk to pretty much anybody except for some NPCs and Patrol officers but other than that it's a pretty solid game I just hope that cyberpunk can deliver something like that or even betteruh

All I want to know is if they have fixed the ending. I wanted to complete the game, then return to an NG+ style play through, not reload a save prior to the end mission and keep getting bombarded with the silly silverhand nonsense.

I never had any gripes with the combat loop as much as some others even thought the update looks great. I cared more about the lack of freedom to influence the story. you should be capable of saving or losing any main character like jackie or panam depending on the choices you make. I hated how Jackie dies no matter what. I cared about the lack of pacifism too, how come they cant give us a stun gun like Deus Ex?

iam a little confused because I haerd perk system was not leveling up only player rank perks and street cred stay the see this is dam problem with cdpr when they not clear then get confusing information like remember when testers said level cap was 70 so do we believe this KZfaqr or not getting real sick of misleading people on KZfaq and misinformation

People are already claiming this to be a very good DLC and I'm like, it's not even out yet. People don't learn. The changes sound good on paper, sure, but the DLC isn't even out yet and making such bold claims really makes me cringe. The updates over the years didn't make the game awesome, they fixed the bugs (for the most part) making it playable, not necessarily awesome. There's a difference, and while the story is really good, the characters and the lore is amazing, the world they've built is fractured and without hope which I really like, the game itself isn't "awesome" now. It's hollow and average at best.

99% of all reporting is either paid or clickbait crap, that’s a fact! Adam Smasher does NOT seem to suffer from the negative effects of too much cyberware! Anyone who paid full price back then and now expects a good game for the full price DLC is stupid. Trusting Early Access gamers is foolish, as you never know if they are paid or rate positively for early access.

No hype , no game-changing skills , will change how i can net-run entire enemy camp or knives headshot all wraith camp , killing Maxtac or cop change nothing because you win nothing with it nor the new relic skill which seems there s only that s too op while the rest is useless so i'll pass .

It's still an on rails action adventure game instead of an rpg. Choices and builds don't matter. A big open world city with nothing to do in it. The game at It's core is still mid.

Wow so gear not having stats is ok? What rock do you live under that's a terrible idea that removes the whole point of getting gear. That on top of the across the board nerfs to consumable usage and stamina makes me feel like I'm getting ripped off before I get a chance to have any fun, just like the last update that nerfed armor TOO MUCH. I'm so confused how people latch on to a few positives and ignore all the negatives

The game is still garbage! None of the crappy quests have been redone! The paths still mean nothing in the game! None of the new 2.0 patch changes are even in the base game, it is all in the expansion area! They have ruined gear & the skill trees are dumbed downed!
