Had to go to the DLC on the PlayStation store and manually select download. Not sure why it didn’t automatically download like everything else that I buy.

If you can’t access DLC try going to Elden ring in your game library, press start for a option list and choose manage game u might not have it downloaded yet

I just had to go to the actual dlc page and download it. I thought it was already downloaded. The video didn’t help but the comment section did.

I downloaded the DLC from a friend's account, and the new loading screens show up, but "Shadow of the erdtree" doesn't show at the bottom, and I don't see the NPC. Is it because I downloaded it from my friends account?

Make sure to turn on console sharing on your friends account in your ps5 so you can also play the dlc

Not helpful. Leda for me (and some other people) is just a black figure lying on the ground and I can't enter the DLC. And nobody seems to know a solution although multiple people have this problem. SO FRUSTRATING!!!

It’s still not working for me, I did all this. So I just refunded the game, but they gave me no option to refund so I went through my bank. Now I’m permanently suspended. GREAT.

Go to files and find easyanticheat setup run as administrator bottom left corner repair settings that fixed my inappropriate activity error

I just turned my xbox off for 30 seconds turned it back on loaded the game back up and now the npc is there thank you to whoever commented to hard reset my xbox!

Not sure how I am able to acces the DLC FINALLY I now for sure It downloaded and updated 2 days ago, I was literally on a New Character Because I thought since I beat the game it wouldnt let me go there. Kind of Salty wtf Bandai !~ Make sure the game works Day 1 for someone who Finshed the game I almost REfunded

My isn’t working I don’t know what happened I killed every boss and I touch the arm and loaded into the dlc and waited and waited and can’t get into the dlc I restarted the game and console and now can’t even load into the game

I don't know if this will help someone but I had this Issue on ps4 after trying everything I was gonna take a backup of saved data and reinstall the game so i bought PlayStation plus for cloud saves and decided to try one more time then it worked. Not sure if that's the solution

Ive tried everything and still its not working. If you check your storage, the DLC does not even say shadow of the erdtree anymore like it used to do, it's simply Elden ring add on, plus the PS5 store is not advertising it big, if you try to search up shadow of the erdtree it wont come up in the results, you would have to Manually go to the Elden ring game and scroll down till you see the options for shadow of the erdtree, is this a sign of them trying to fix the problem we are all facing at the moment?

I downloaded the dlc and touched the hand of the guy in the egg next to the new knight npc and it went black and loaded for 30 minutes so I turned off the Xbox and loaded it it’s stuck at a little bit loaded on the loading bar and I waited 30 minutes turned off the Xbox and tried again. Currently waiting another 10 minutes with the load bar at the same place as last time.

I’m on ps5 I got to the dlc but rage quit and now it’s saying I don’t have the dlc installed and I need to reinstall the dlc to play. I’ve installed the dlc 4 different times but it’s just not working

I'm thinking it's because the DLC and main disc data are on different hard drives installed on the console. I'm currently attempting to reinstall and move all the elden ring data on to the main console memory.🤞 hopefully that works.

Just another way for them to force us to buy digital content instead of physical. I bought mine through Amazon and never thought that they'd maybe send me a UK version considering I'm on the US Amazon store but maybe that's what my issue is. Also as it's not working for me as well. I think I'm just going to call Sony and request a refund at this point

Restarting isn't working for a lot of people. The only thing that worked for me was a soft console "reset default settings". Not sure why this works. It's quite a pain to do. From needs to fix this PRONTO.

I'm on ps5, I pre ordered the dlc premium bundle the day it was available for pre-order. It comes with both the ps5 and ps4 versions of the dlc, I selected the option to auto download the ps5 version of the dlc along with the Game Art and OST application. Now that the dlc is released I am only able to open the Game Art and OST application as the dlc says that it's purchased and installed but will not allow me to play it. There is no option to choose what version of the dlc I want to play (ps4 or ps5) so I assumed maybe it got installed on my ps4, it didn't, so then I went to the 'Manage Game Content' tab on my elden ring Application and it says there's no game content. I have all the new current updates for the game and I even tried uninstalling and reinstalling but even that didn't work. The last thing I did was try downloading the dlc from the Playstation app but that didn't work, I have still not played the dlc and I'm very confused as to what I'm supposed to do. Playstation support is not available atm and I don't know where to go next, any ideas? (I own a physical copy of elden ring but a digital copy of the dlc, don't know if that matters) (There is also a new tab in the main menu for Elden Ring under 'PlayStation Store' but when i press that, it just pops an error message saying This content cannot be found WS-116129-0 which i looked up the error code and found nothing on it)

unfortunately that would mean you‘d have to buy one or the other again. I encourage you to first check out the other comments. there are several possible workarounds that might help. re-buying would be kinda my last resort.

My physical copy is from Lyon France, but when the digital American version of the game installs do you know if im going to be able to upload my save storage from the ps plus cloud from my old physical copy into the new digital one?

I'm also having this problem on Windows. After the anti-piracy program ends, the entire screen remains black and the game doesn't start. Although I can see the game's mouse cursor, but that's it. Anybody else with this problem?

I am on steam deck, and I am having this issue. I have redownloaded the dlc and verified my files many times, and I still do not see the shadow of the erdtree in my main menu. I am having the issue many others are where my game keeps saying there is inappropriate activity and so it goes offline. I have no idea if that has anything to do with it but it’s something else that’s messing up. I saw your message about managing extra content but where is that menu. Is it on steam or in Elden ring and where?

Also seeing this issue on Steam Deck. I've only ever played this game offline so don't know about the inappropriate activity thingy. I do have mods so that's why I never play online. I will try on my main PC when I go back from vacation and see if it gets the same problems. I doubt it has anything to do with the Deck specifically though.

My game literally won’t load after I downloaded it. I baught the dlc downloaded it and then went to the dlc area to play it but it’s just stuck on the loading screen. I restarted my game and console and it still just gets stuck

Try checking if you have any contentment to be downloaded, because I was having the same problem and then realized that my game was saved in both the internal and the external storage, but I was still missing a download for my internal storage even though I downloaded the dlc already but apparently it was just for the external storage. I just finished downloading it and it goes past the loading screen. Hopes this works for you too
