I genuinely loved Phantom Liberty! It's hands down what the game should've been from the beginning! Alas, it was all over so fast. I've already done everything in Dogtown now, and I didn't plough straight through it all either. Maybe we'll get a few more side jobs and gigs added in the future. That'd be cool for sure. That enormous map and there's still so much they could do with it!

AT FIRST not having an option for third person was irritating, but you get used to first person and it feels good. I would say a human connection is still very easy to capture in third person, look at games like Red Dead Redemption 2, but I think CDPR did it well

Say you encounter a skill check for 10 body, and you're at 9, so you're like alright, I'll get a quick level in body and come back. So you do, you come back, and now the skill check is 11 body?!?! What are you even supposed to do for that? Specifically I'm worried that since I'm going a netrunner build, I won't be able to move the dumpster in front of Brendan due to this scaling. I was hoping to get your thoughts on this. Anyways, love your content!

Worth noting a LOT of people are having problems even launching the game post 2.01, especially those who have tried modding the game from 2.0. Happened to me and I had to get a fix to purge the files that the previous mods added and I only used three mods to set up a HUD hotkey. Even minor tweaking can break the game at the moment. I'm not going near Cyberpunk until the modding has settled in and issues have workarounds. Just play the basegame, DON'T jump into modding yet would be my advice and there may be yet MORE updates to come trying to fix stuff that already should have been fixed by earlier fixes lol.

While I do enjoy cyberpunk, I refuse to believe they went to all the trouble making a complex "create a character" system, and didn't want to do 3rd person. It's more likely "there was no way we could get all of the possible player characters looks to work without it being a buggy mess." That's why they removed all but a few 3rd person scenes where you're in a specific outfit. Hopefully the next one will have 3rd person

They didn't touch upon the most annoying bugs that I wanted to be patched first in line. Like total chaos with cyberware capacity meter, "Break Hold" enemy trait not working at all, amounts of money transactions being mismatched with what's displayed on the screen, missing sounds from one stealth takedown, disappearing arms after using arm cyberware in certain (unclear to me) scenarios, Misty being bugged and not able to be spoken to, weird leg twitch when an enemy gets ragdolled, and other miscellaneous bugs. I've listed them in the order of annoyance. Shame there's no way to report these bugs directly to CDPR. Just a week or two, and I'll complete my new full playthrough, probably won't even be able to enjoy the game without these problems.

quite frankly, cyberpunk wouldn't have hit as hard as it did if it was third person view, I can't think of a single 3rd person view game that has made me pause it to wipe away tears and take a break.

I wouldnt expect too much but I hope there'll be some sort of multiplayer system where you can form a crew, do gigs together and a crew vs crew mode (Team Deathmatch, 1v1, King of the Hill/CTF) Also cant wait for the live-action project! We need more cyberpunk genre films or series!

I mean... I love CDPR. But after years of thinking the author of the Witcher series was just jealous of their success, I'm starting to see a pattern of them taking nearly dead IP and turning them into mega bucks with shows and all kinda of tie-ins. Granted, the author of witcher wanted nothing to do with the game or CDPR even during production, so it is what it is. They seem to have included Cyberpunk's creator to the point of him being in the front of the hype train before release, which was pretty awesome. I haven't looked into it, I just really hope he saw the authors mistake with Witcher and made not taking royalties, and didn't go on to make that same mistake. To be clear, CDPR is just doing good business, and I think Witcher's author was naive and waved off games, so they took advantage of it, as they should have lol. That said, CDPR was not a known company, and it took them a few games to reach AAA status, so he got what it was worth at the time from a new developer.

Not sure how to feel about a LIVE ACTION project. The anime worked so well because the aesthetic just fit in so well with the Cyberpunk genre, IMHO. Not sure if Live Action can pull it off. Also, wouldn't they need Mike Pondsmith onboard for this project too, since its technically his IP?

They'd destroy the game's reputation again with a live action project, especially in this modern era.
