I can run Cyberpunk 2077 at 4K with Path Tracing on my 4090, at around 300 Watts. It's an efficient card.

Love the overclocking and water-cooling content. Not a lot of channels still do that. With max tuning, does 14900ks start to break away from 7800x3d in gaming?

I would love to see a 14900KS overclocked and paired with 8000MHz+ DDR5 in a head to head. Unfortunately I don't have the recourses to build a 7800X3D Test bench

Hey Bang, Can you test this game using (Digital Foundry's/Hardware Unboxed's) Optimized settings with Path tracing ON and regular Ray tracing maxed out side by side using both DLSS and Frame Generation in 4k! Thank you!

Love your content man. And your setup as well. Curious as to how you're routing with your Elgato 4K X. Are you doing passthru, Fullscreen projector via OBS, or NDI? I have a dual PC setup and I'm aiming for smooth 60fps video with VRR gameplay

Thanks for the support, I'm doing passthrough with elgato 4k capture utility. I only use OBS for live streams. I capture at 4k 60 140mbps

What a beast set up you have! Game runs amazing! My ddr5 ram isnt as fast and of course not as cool as your custom watercool rig. But wow love seeing you push the numbers and get 100fps + in spots, I push around 90 at best with the same settings. But my rig isn’t as good as yours. I average around 70fps with these settings.

Now that the stuttering is gone, it would be the best way to run the game with your CPU.

Have experienced any severe stuttering or any constant stuttering at all besides basic stuttering like auto save or while entering a new area? I am having stutters in all games and mostly in cyberpunk 4-5 stutters whenever i rotate the camera. Do ya think my 4090 is not working properly?

Hi Bang, great video. Have you checked out this new Cyberpunk mod? There is a 4K Texture Pack mod that enhances all the textures and visuals in the game. It's said to make the game look much better. That sounds like a great mod to me. From what I have read through, it's not compatible with the HD reworked mod.

In this game you're getting about 5-10 more FPS than my 4090 and 14900K on air.

Could you somehow make this Path Tracing test with 7800x3d + 4090 combination too? I wonder which CPU handles Ray Tracing better. With my current 12700k i bottleneck even with a 4070 because ray tracing is so heavy on cpu.

7800x3d easily handles 4090 with RT. I upgraded my monitor after I built my computer, because i realized I didn't need 300 fps in every game.

It's not very complicated to build a PC, but it being worth it depends on your use case and budget. If you just want to play games and your budget is under £700, then I would say just get a console. But if you could stretch to £1000 then you could build something pretty decent.

Damn, on my 13700K and 4090. I only get about 75 FPS.. with everything maxed at 4K and using FG and RR, DLSS quality. Is that normal for my system? How are you getting 95-100 FPS so easily? Noticed your CPU is overclocked to 6ghz, GPU is overclocked to 3GHZ, memory overclocked to 8400mhz with tight timings I'm assuming? I guess all these overclocks help you get much higher FPS? My system is not really overclocked, using XMP for memory, mostly everything is stock.
