I have a super squishy ninja netrunner and never had a problem with this build, but during the mission we were stuck in a small room with the president waiting for the lift nowhere to run, and enemies kept flooding in, making me forced to reduce the difficult. Bad design on some parts some builds can't be viable, but overall fun.

The Cyberpsycho sidequest with Regina is actually really fucking compelling now because it's an actual challenge. I used to just spam my healing items till i beat the psychos but now with this new system even on bulldozer character builds i am a lot more careful in my steps and i fucking love it

@@sangarooncheamsawat4539that's pretty much the hard counter to stealth builds in any game. Anytime you have a forced combat, boss encounter. I'm running the same build and also struggled with this spot, but I managed to scrape by after like 10 deaths

Ngl with these kinds of RPG’s I usually lower the difficulty to avoid damage sponges, and I heard this recent update added level scaling which is a huge L in game design, the whole point is that you get more powerful lmao.

I have been enjoying the combat overhaul so much that I have just been leveling on gangers and ncpd calls. I reached 50 sc while my character level is 30 lol. The combat is so much fun now. It feels like its easy when you make good decisions and really hard when you fuck up. Its great on very hard.

Honestly on very hard I've been having a very rough time as a hybrid build. I feel like you might be required to go all in on some damage build to make very hard doable. I'm always tight on eddies since I am a fashion addict, and everytime I upgrade cyberware or my trusty pistol, the enemies seem to scale with me and make the upgrades obsolete.

Been enjoying it quite a lot and I was happy that my 100% save file was in the cloud, to my surprise, when I reinstalled the game. I've been mostly focusing on side content for now, because that's how I always play most of these games. It's crazy to see how big of a comeback this game has had..first with Edgerunners anime bringing people back and now this expansion, which I knew they were gonna deliver on. If there's something that we know that CDPR is good at..is at making amazing expansions (Hearts of Stone, Blood & Wine and now Phantom Liberty are amazing examples of that).

Dude your approach should be the model who anyone wanting to write a genuinely useful review about any consumer product. No arbitrary ratings or rantings or whatever emotions the product arouses within you. You just: thoroughly demonstrate what the game is like to play/product is like to use with extensive examples so consumers can get a good idea of whether or not it is right for them. Would who have thought?! The whole space is full of people trying soooo hard to have personalities, forgetting that everyone already has a personality and it's better to just be yourself and get to work. I already loved this game as it was, played through it 6 times over 400 hours.. rhis update has made it all feel fresh again and much more refined and enjoyable.. I’m only a few hours in to the expansion, finished most of the “on rails” section as u put it, and even though it’s on rails it’s some of the best stuff I’ve seen in the game so far.. can’t wait to continue on through dog town and mix in parts of the base game with it Also, everyone has different tastes in rpgs, for me, I’m not overly concerned with narrative choice n consequence, but gameplay choice n consequence and freedom of expression through it.. and if ur looking for that kinda freedom in a game, cyberpunk does it better than anything else .. while also mixing in a lot of dialogue options and choices within the narrative as well.. it’s just the perfect mix for me personally

I was let down by the main story. When they talked spy thriller I expected some complicated plot going down the rabbit hole. However the "conspiration" you uncover is very very basic and not as enganging as I wanted. It is character driven, what I appreciate but is not what I was told to expect. So I feel like this questline is a waste of potential ,for things that could be explained and were not and characters who were thrown aside by the story like Hansen and Alex. Aide content ia great though.

I suspect there was more social commentary and an emphasis on the setting that helped make this better than the base game. Tbh, the original had Saints row 3/Deus Ex MD gameplay vibes often, which won't cut it for a cyberpunk genre setting.

I would love it if CDRP added a mode that lets the player just wander around NC, w/out any story missions or narrative to follow. Start as a low-level street ganger, and work your way up the ranks, take over other gangs territory, etc. I mean you can basically Role-play this right now, but it still feels really immersion breaking for me, when my V in all of her cutscenes is a pretty stand-up person that's always trying to help those in need. But when I'm in control, I'm playing as a slightly out of control merc, so their's a kind of disconnect there.

This has to be one of the finest looking games ever made and yet it runs well on fairly modest hardware (including 8GB Graphics cards) unlike so many other AAA titles recently. Which proves that all that nonsense about VRAM is just an excuse for bad programing and greedy/scummy practices.

*SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER* I absolutely HATED the tonal shift into "horror" towards the end of this DLC. I was really feeling the dlc until this point which ruined the entire experience for me because of how forced it felt. The entire game you're fighting all these imposing robots and then out of nowhere this one shows up and there's nothing I can do to it? As I said, this ruined the entire experience

Playing video games a lot in exchange for good ad revenue isn't really a hard job. He likely treats it like a full time job and games a lot each day, but it's still a hell of a lot better than working an office job and I imagine the pay is a lot better considering his channel numbers. I'd happily play 12 hours of games a day, every day if I was being paid well for it.

Honestly, it's now a great game. One of the best FPS RPGs ever made, if not the best. By all means, feel free to avoid it because your principles get in the way of enjoyment, but it's a waste. I mean, you could always just boot up the 2.0 update without paying for the DLC and see if it feels good. I shat all over CDPR for the launch of the game. But just as with No Man's Sky I believe redemption is possible (although unlikely). But yeah, you do you.

Its overall better, because they finally fixed most bugs and issues, but why they added vehicle combat and police is beyond me, none of it ties into the gameplay or missions and its still extremly linear experience except for the combat builds. No options for roleplaying your character like in Fallout New Vegas, BG3 or Pathfinder. It's a shame they built a breathtaking city but with very little dynamic gameplay its mostly just set dressing. I really hope the next game is gonna allow us to proper roleplay and that they add more im-sim / dynamic gameplay to the world, instead constantly running from combat marker to combat marker, like a looter shooter.
