Fantastic pulls! I bought five 15 packs (oof) but don’t regret it now that they sold out. Looks like the Animation Legends team removed the pencil drawings, usually stuck to the paint of the cel. Probably because they planned to sell their final stock at marked up prices individually. They currently are selling pencils from the Sonic Says intro animation.

I love animation cells. Sure, cell animation takes a lot more time and effort, but there’s something so magical about seeing individually hand painted pictures moving. Also, you have the painted cells to collect!

I've been un-ironically enjoying the snot out of this show lately. (Some mad lad is hosting episodes on YT) but I much agree Robotnik is the best character. Probably all of those years of Memes made him stand out. But even u-ironically, I find him to be the most entertaining. I'd love to see these shows re-animated in UHD keeping original Audio. I could imagine whoever may have gotten the "SNOOPING AS USUAL I SEE" cell will cherish it forever.... or flex it!

There's this weird gimmick that runs in my family of us creating our own personal collections of things we enjoy. My uncle collects Spanish music and even writes his own. My cousins collect Martial Arts materials and participates in them regularly. And my dad collects various car accessories, like Radios and the like. And I collect Video Game media. And this would definitely be an amazing thing to hold in my collection.

These are definitely a worth while purchase. You are the only one that owns these. That's what makes it cool. In your Sonic cell, it kind of looks like he was holding something in his left hand.

There's something very satisfying about seeing the paused frame on the episode exactly match the animation cell.

The production numbers on cels usually don't list what episode they were made for, and instead indicate what scene they're used for (in live action film terminology this would be called a shot, and in anime this would be called a cut), and the other numbers indicate what number drawing they are on the photography/timing sheet. A 25 minute episode is going to ordinarily be comprised of 300-500 cuts, and each cut will usually be composed of a number of drawings in the single digits. "SC" seems to refer to what scene the cel was used for, so if you have a cel labeled SC-5, it will be in the fifth shot, probably less than a minute into the episode. The "C" I think refers to character? There's an "R" on a few pictures of robotnik, and there was an "S" on a cel with sonic, so I think it was based off of who was on screen.

Dr. Ivo Robotnic is by far, hands down, at a ratio of about ten million to one, my favorite cartoon character ever. He’s what I call “delightfully despicable.” He’s rotten to the core and he has no redeeming qualities of any kind, but because he’s so incompetent he’s totally harmless. Paired with his over-the-top theatricality in everything he does and says, it gives him kind of an adorable gremlin cat kind of vibe.

Probably a good idea could be to also digitally archive all of your animation cells using a high res photo/paper scanner that’s large enough for them! So in that case the cells could be archived as high res PNG files with transparent backgrounds and it would also make sure that if any cells are somehow destroyed or damaged they would still be permanently archived digitally! :)

Dr. Warpnik's episode was my favorite ever, I recorded it on VHS when it was on and I rewatched it so many times. It was just all non-stop crazy shit. Robotnik discovers an interdimensional tunnel in a garbage can and it takes him to his cousin's dimension of fish where the badniks get turned into kaiju by egg bombs. It was so insane and I wish Warpnik was a canon character.

Imagine getting a animation cell from one of the memes of this show. That would be not only cool to have but also funny as f*ck.

I love this Show. Aosth Dr Robotnik is the best cartoon character. They should do New episodes. No cels of the "Snooping as usual I see" scene and no cels of the thats no good sonic sez episode exists. The lines of the cels look much sharper than in the show

Funny thing, I just bought a 5 pack animation cell of this show. I got a nice Robotnik holding a finger up looking insecure (facing left), Scratch and Grounder fighting over a shovel (with Grounder to the right and facing away from the camera), Scratch picking up Grounder (Scratch is facing the left and towards camera, Grounder is the opposite way), Coconuts also looking insecure (facing right), and what looks to be Tails preparing to fly (facing right). Funny how we both ended up getting cells around the same time. If anyone has any idea where these cells came from, that would be cool. I might update the comment with some way to post photos of the cells if anyone is interested
