It's pretty amusing that the old-style BMW turn selectors were found by so many people to be "confusing." They were only slightly more complicated than a lightswitch.

I did a test drive on one of these last year. I'm not a big fan of the 'trendy' paralel twin. Don't get me wrong, it's a fun engine when it comes to driving...but after 50 miles the snorting sound realy gets on my nerves. own a Harley 1200 Forty Eight and a H CBR 600 R atm and am looking for a good city/commuting bike, pref more comfy the my honda. BMW is imo expensive but it retains alot of it's value on resale. What would you recomend for everyday use (aprox 90 miles): F 800 R or Kawa Z 750?

test rode one of these a while ago. i found it massively vibey and the din it made was terrible. i was embarassed to ride it through my town with the racket it makes. i also found it uncomfortable and really missed the weight of a normal fuel tank, however it does look the business and is hugely nimble. but i'll stick with cb1300s ta

can this bike have two people riding it or is it just for one person?

it's pretty inexpensive for a Beemer. The higher sticker price than other "comparable" bikes should keep them a little exclusive and out of squid hands. They wouldn't be blatty enough for the no safety gear brigade anyway. All around subtle and capable bike and if you buy one used it'll probably have been well kept
