The All Harley Drag Racing Association saw one of the biggest Top Fuel Harley turnouts in decades at the season-opening AHDRA Don “DJ” Johnson Nationals from Gainesville Raceway. In this video we will give you all the inside stories, see tight Nitro Harley racing, a few Top Fuel Harley explosions and fails and we will take you back into the pit area of of Billy Jackson “Controlled Chaos” to see what between rounds maintenance must be performed on these Harley Davidson, nitro burning drag bikes. We also explore with this full event came to an abrupt and unusual conclusion.

It's a shame the Top Fuel Harley racers lost their major sponsor. They even offered too race for a reduced purse, provided the NHRA waive the entry fee, they were still refused. The Top Fuel bikes are definitely a crowd favorite.

The problem was the lack of diversity of Harley Racing. Seen as Out law class of motor sports. Years ago they said Harley Drag racing brought the wrong type of crowd. Not my opinion. Just what we were told in the 90's.

@@brianreynoldson1965 oh i had no idea. I haven't paid attention in long time . Spider man Mcbride yea he rides import was fastest ET when i was still paying attention. 5.50 at 264 mph I saw that run couple years ago

Ride On Jack, good to see, ( and hear ), Mike Romine. Like Smokey Yunik, ( R.I.P. ), he speaks his mind. For many years, I watched what Mike did and went back to my shop that weekend and tried my best to emulate what he did to his bikes, to my Nitro Ironhead Sportster.

Jack a lot of these racers did not have CYCLE DRAG stickers on them . Time for that to change .
