Sandy has certainly made the “Grey Ghost” his own…forward controls, LED upgrades and that air cleaner. Very cool. As usual, Big John spreading the H-D love to his buddy Sandy. You guys rock!

Try this with your buddy. Place bike on Jack stand if possible but don’t jack up only hold it up rite. Sit on the bike with feet on pegs/boards, place your hands on your hips, close your eyes, reach out to where your comfortable, make a fist like your holding bars, then freeze up and have buddy take a measurement of how much higher your hands are from bars, how far back your hands are from bars. Also have him take an overhead picture of your hand in reference to the bike grips to get the angle of your wrist to get wrist angle.

Damn that bike is looking amazing! I’m happy to see he put a pillion on the back of that bike I thought it looked weird with backrest and no passenger seat. Now it just needs passenger pegs. That’s a beautiful peace of machinery. I would love to add one of these bikes to the stable. He’s made this bike something special.

When Sandy did the forward controls, he went with chrome (then got it powder-coated) because the rear brake pedal on the black version was hard to reach with the big air intake. I wonder if, with the S&S intake he added, would the black forward control work better?

This guy thinks like me! Looks great, love the forward controls too! I would try like heck to make that right bag the same size as the left. Going to have convert to a 2/1 exhaust perhaps for that to happen. Whatcha think?

Hey man you said your rocking the thrashin 9.5 risers on your street bob. How tall are you. Have an fxlrst and was thinking of going 9.5 but after hearing him say he's doing 6.5 I'm not sure.

I have the '22 Lowrider S and would've gotten the ST if they had in stock at the time. My thing is this and don't take it wrong, but if you're going through all the hassle of modifying the bike to a full on touring bike, why not jump up to the Ultra Classic or Street Glide if you're looking for more of touring model. By the time you add up the cost of all the mods, you're at the touring bike price point. I'm saying this to myself because I found myself doing all of which I stated and after the fact I said- damn I wish I would've just got what I not only wanted, but needed. That all said, you have a beautiful bike!

Any leads on dealerships that aren't price gouging? Test rode one of these but the dealership had it listed at $27k and lowest they would go was $25k.

So he tricked out a bagger even though it was a standard, with better suspension, More storage space, longer range fuel tank, heavier weight not to get blown around by semis or wind, with a sound system that he upgraded.... And he went for something lighter with worse suspension, and less storage and the first thing he does is turn it back into a bagger with a tour pack , floorboards and a sound system?... To each his own but I just don't get it.... He should have painted his Electra glide gray and called it a day!

The mono shock rear suspension on that softail is far superior to the touring line suspension, even with an upgrade.

To each his own but I really can’t grasp choosing a fugly low rider st over a street glide. I just don’t care for the fairing look.

Imo the street glide fairing is the ugliest of all baggers. I think the road glide fairing is the best looking fairing and best performance wise as well

@@raybrdjr Oh absolutely man those are beautiful bikes! I own a 08 Nightster I picked up 3 months ago with 8k miles on it for 3 grand and I have a 100th anniversary Road king in silver and black but I’ve always liked and wanted a Road glide one day I’ll add one to my stable.
