I'm OK with North/South but usually have to stop and think about East/West. Nice to find somebody else who doesn't know his West from his East. 😀 N.B. I think I would have given London a miss as well.

I'd have taken the train to Windsor & Eton Riverside & started from there - cut out the unappealing cycle through London

Do you wear cycle pants? , my first foray into long distance bridleway cycling was sore as f ass ! even though i thought i was a seasoned cyclist . Some bridleways as opposed to `cycle `routes can be pretty rough when overgrown if ill used . Mind you some cycle ways can get overrun with brambles in no time . Great kit you have . Good luck in your ongoing adventure .

I have a few different types of Endura MTB shorts. They are not padded and things did used to hurt but over time just got used to it. A healthy balance of sitting/standing on the bike helps me a lot also!

Hi Darren, It looks pretty good and could you please share the route you travelled and I'd be interested in riding the same. May be strava or GPX files would be useful
