Making up 1.5 seconds in a pursuit in 2 laps is borderline impossible, most people won’t realize how impressive this actually is

My guess is that the last member of the team to pass for a determined distance ( each turn is 250 m ) sets the time for the team. So I did a little research, and they have to do 4 km ( 32 turns ). Since they are a team they can draft, therefore save energy in a way. Last cyclist from a team to cross the finish the quickest wins ( his team, that is )

Two teams catching each other. Simple. Aftera certain number of laps, You can determine wich team has done the laps in less time. :)

The person in front has to deal with the most drag, where as the people behind can slip stream behind him and conserve energy. So they switch every lap so when you are in front you can push hard, and by the time you are back in front after the rotations, you have caught your breath a little and can push hard again.

It seems to be important elements of the game is 1) pace distribution(a team leading at the half way seems to have more chance of losing) 2) when to drop the 4th rider.(early dropping seems to give advantage but at the end becomes the disadvantage) etc. Interesting game, indeed.

Charlie Zhu Only 3 from a team needs to complete the race. As the stoppage time is based on the front wheel of the third cyclist.

I guess that they can have 4 people in here but they only need 3 to finish the race. And I guess he is there to help them with drafting or slip-streaming or w/e it is called so the three main racers won't get as tired since they won't be that exhausted by the air. He helps them make this Air bubble in which it is easier to ride. Slip-streaming or Drafting is used in a lot of races for example in Nascar.
