Why struggle with the exhaust manifold - just take the end studs out and then you don't have to move it forward.

@@jacksonpuckett6115 On top of the cam shafts right behind the sprockets. At 6:03 it is the hole in the yoke right behind the E1 and the arrow.

Did you drain the oil before starting this process? Hoping to get away with simply changing out the one valve that is most likely burnt due to being over tightened. Are there any important seals that can/should be replaced with this job? Thanks for the informative video!

Interesting question Unlimited Potential , nice video this one, but is it neccesary to drain it? isn´t it resting in the carter?

Yes you need to drain the oil because got water coolant in it due to the blown head gasket. Then you get fresh oil

Can a machine shop correct a head once the valve have receded in to the head?

I noticed you left the cam sprockets on the cams. In the Haynes Manual it says to remove the sprockets, I'm not sure why.

Those arrows @ 6:02 are identifying the intake valves and exhaust valves. i1, e1 are the first set of valves (2 intake, 2 exhaust),.,... I think. haha

The letters and numbers tell you where the yokes go. The arrows tell you which end points toward the front of the engine.

im lining my mark like on 7:55 but i have 2 marking on that wheel so which one should i go to?

hmongboy9161 Can you wipe them off with a rag? Should be a white mark, I think it is the left mark. If your timing belt is still on the car you can line up the camshaft marks and see which crankshaft mark it lines up with. Try google images too.
