Hate comparisons of guitar players Schenker has so much class he took Vinnie Moore as his opening act on the unforgiven tour and loaned him his band cause he couldn't afford his own at that time. My 2 cents for what it's worth Vinnie is a better technician Michael is more creative therefore Michael gets a slight edge like I said before hate comparisons there both legendary and this series of ufo videos during the short time Jason Bonham was in the band has been a fantastic find on you tube thanks Phil. VINNIE and Jason RIP Paul and Pete

@@jeffreybrady927 Try me is Michaels favorite lead solo. Mine is Arbory Hill on the Obsession record when he learns to play the recorder (or flute). Chapman really shines on his Firing on all six album with his former band Lone Star. Vinny adds more notes to this solo and he's a great guitarist in his own right, but I'm leaning towards Joe Perry for top dog (Shenker having been my favorite since phenomenon). All the credit goes to Paul Chapman who wrote this gem of a song!

This is a great song and UFO is a great band! Re: Mogg's Vocals. That's one part of UFO that I have never learned to appreciate, though UFO would not be UFO without him. But unlike most other singers, he's only getting better with age. I think that UFO is a guitar band AND about composition. That's why I love them! Schenker is not just a technical player but has emotion in his playing and is a great composer. I don't know much about VM but someone has to replace MS so I'm glad he's there!

Lot of comments here about the solo, being a guitar player myself ( but obviously not in the same league as these guys) I feel I should put my two penith in, first of all the original was on a studio album which had countless mixes, the guitar used here was more than likley a different one to the original, as are the amps and the effects pedals , note for note it is perfect, every guitar player has a different feel especially for vibrato, thats their mark, everyone is different, ask even schenker to play that and it wont sound the same.

To all those saying the guitar should be Michael Schenker... Wrong! Paul Chapman is the man to credit for the incredible solo on the original recording. This is ok but as others have pointed out, there's a definite lack of restraint and feeling by Mr Moore. If another (late) Mr Moore had been involved, I guarantee it would have been a whole other story :)

A beautiful [rock] song and one of the many excellent tracks from the wild wiling and innocent album. Thinking about it, UFO are actually quite remarkable; they have produced so many great tracks over a life span of some 5O years. They have given us boogey space rock, face melting stadium rock, classic MOR rock, and some bluesy rock and during each era they have done some stunning work. I still listen to Misdemeanor [with Atomic Tommy who was shredding when it was usually referring to what you do to paper, not to a guitar] and find some great tracks - e.g. Mean Street, Heaven's Gate, Wreckless.
@markhaus28303 жыл бұрын
For me Misdemeanor sounds to much like 80's pop. For me the next album with Atomik Tommy, or I guess you would call it a EP (because it's short, around 26 min.) Ain't Misbehavin' is much better. More like UFO should be.
@johnzaffuto491211 жыл бұрын
Chapman actually came up with the solo before they wrote the rest of the song. This take was good but in my opinion Chapmans solo was the heart of the song.
