Strangers in the Night would have sounded very thin without Paul's fills and backup rhythm playing and keyboards...he truly was that inside glue you don't think about when you say, wow, that song was great. His duel leads with Schenker on SITN are magical.

Paul Raymond, the Rick Wright of hardrock: minimalistic playing, delicate but oh so efficient accents, without turning a rock band into a cheesy act.

This is quite possibly the most beautiful song I’ve ever heard. The studio version is great, the Strangers in the Night live version even better, but this version takes it to another level. Much as I love Maiden, Purple, AC/DC, none can match UFO

Favorite song of all time! Tell me why they never have Michael Schenker on the list of top ten guitarists ever. UFO was right up there with any rock band and i would go anywhere in California to see them live and in the nineties went to see them at a small venue at the coach house that has about 500 seats and it was the highlight of my life being inches from the band as they played a 2 hour set of there classics on a Tuesday night. So good to have them in my era growing up in the seventies and thanks for the music UFO.

Absolutely most underrated band ever. Why they weren't more popular is a mystery to me. Anytime you can add some classical instruments to a rock song speaks volumes as to the quality of the music (Scorpions live with the Berliner Philharmoniker comes to mind). Incredible version here.
