I am sure the fans, including myself, were worried about a lot of things before the announcement, but in the end we got the tremendous new album, haha. It is my impressions so far that I have listened to the new album myself and watched you guys reactions and read some comments. ①Mirror Mirror, it is Su-'s favorite one. I like it too. The famous line from the Grimm's fairy tale 'Snow White', 'Mirror, mirror, on the wall', also line from Shakespeare's 'Macbeth', 'Double, double toil and trouble'. Using them, and it seems they express a wonder world of the mirror.. ②MAYA is cool too. At first I thought the song name was about 'Mayan civilisation', but the concept of the song is 'illusion', and in Japanese, is 'mayakashi (まやかし, or 瞞し)', so it might be maya of mayakashi. But in this case, there is no word for maya in that sense in Japanese (I guess), so, as usual, I guess the word was coined by BM as an example. It is a mysterious song.. ③METALIZM, it's my favourite so far. In my opinion, both the lyrics and the music are arranged in some Arabic-inspired way, in particular, the lyrics would be from 'Arabian Nights'. However, it might be somewhat stereotypically images for our Japanese in this song. Perhaps that might be offensive to the Arabian people, but I would like to genuinely enjoy myself. The Japanese have a certain longing for Arabia, a kind of exoticism from the old days. And first, the way Su- sings it, it's like some old Japanese Enka songs, or old popular songs, and that's the first thing that makes me smile. And then the chorus '(METALIZM) zum zum zum' kills me, haha. I guess this is a kind of a play on words that it repeats the ending 'zumu' of 'metarizumu' which is the Japanese equivalent of the English word 'metalism'. (However, English has the word, 'metalism'?) To put it bluntly, I think this is where BM's cute metal, or fun metal genes remain. And one more thing, at 35:30, 37:49, the guitar phrasings in this section reminds me of Mikio Fujioka's classic solo phrasings. It is so good. Thank you so much for the great reviews!!, from Japan!

I love how people think they know BABYMETAL then upon hearing a new song it's all "WTF did I just hear?" Metalizm is so different it blows us all away... and you haven't even experienced a sax solo in a BABYMETAL song yet. 😊 I will let you discover that one. 😂 This album is so amazing with so diverse music. I just love it. The only downside is that i want more More MORE!!! I hope that after the Fox Day concerts we get a full Blu-ray release. 🤘🦊🤘

I love Su's cadence in METALIZM ( I WISH we got more of it. a 3rd verse or something) and the beat is sooooo good. The 2 guitar solo type shredding parts are going to be amazing live. VERY curious what the choreography for it will be like. I feel like this song NEEDS it's own costume. I really love Maya too. Tons of energy. So far METALIZM, MAYA, and Monochrome are my favs. Mirror Mirror will have to grow on me. It just feels like 2-3 songs mashed into one. Almost another TOTD to me personally. Just too much all over the place for me to get into a groove. I am sure seeing the Girls and the Kami band live will make it 1000% better though as they always do. Solid album yet again from BABYMETAL. Everyone will have their own favorites. I don't know what one is mine. I assume it will change over and over just like all the other albums. 🤘🦊🤘

Good stream. I found no particular story in listening to the full album (yet). But it is thematically cohesive musically and lyrically. And some of the songs lead perfectly to the next. Metalizm is a musical blending of Celtic and Arabic elements. Very reminiscent of Loreena McKennitt's work although Babymetal amps it up with their special Heavy Metal instrumentation and arrangement.

Great triple reaction, thanks! Awesome! Three of my four favorites from the new album. Add "Believing" and you get a poker. "Mirror Mirror" became an instant favorite to me. Putting power and thrash metal aside, this is exactly how I like my metal. 😁 And... oh yeah, Su's vocals!! "MAYA"... how to describe it... brutally melodic? Yeah, I'm good with that. And "METALIZM" is just freaking crazy. Those guitar solos!!! Can't wait for this one live! Someone said they weren't taking risks on the new album. And well, to be fair, Koba trolled us all with the previous singles. Wat "weird" means? Remember "YAVA!". 🤘🦊 Until next time!

I've been listening to these songs on repeat and Metalizm is definitely my favorite... You had India with Shanti Shanti Shanti, Slavic Poka with Oh Majinai, now you have Egyptian/Arabian with Metalizm.... so damned good. 🤘🦊🤘

That sneaky Koba-Metal has led us on a trail that couldn't have been more wrong with the releases we've heard so far, right? 🤭I at least didn't expect that the remaining parts of the album would outshine everything so far in terms of heaviness.
