Spoilers Jesse played both games so well especially the last one, Maggie saw his party card and he just admitted to being a fascist, sowing doubt that eventually resulted in Maggie getting shot and pulling attention away from Sinvicta. Mad genius

So haunting listening to this again and remembering we will never get to hear any more new vids from TB. It feels weird listening to this in a way but its also a type of legacy he left behind.

I watched the first on and loved it, so I searched up the second episode and scrolled down to the comments when it was over and every comment was RIP John. So i searched it up and started crying, so for John I will benge watch this whole sereis. I cried about you as much as I cried about my grandma, I hope you all have a good and happy day. RIP John, you will be missed.

Having watched this 5 years ago and only learning about his passing now is quite saddening... a real lesson in how quickly the world can change if you dont pay attention...

During the middle of the 2nd game there was a 100% possibility for the fascists to win, with Maggy dead and 3 cards left that are all fascist cards, there was a 3v3 split so just hanging the parliament was an easy win. So whoever was fascist could've just shouted that and it was an easy win without any RNG. A bit hard to spot but a possibility.

Statistically, the odds of 3 fascist cards 1st turn is about 24%, statistically, the odds of 6 fascist cards in a row are about 3% so you got that much right, that's actually unlikely. However, the odds of drawing 3 fascist cards knowing 3 fascist cards are out of the deck now are about 15%, which I think is the more accurate question to ask in this case because the odds naturally decrease every turn if you keep counting from turn 1 so everything becomes unlikely at that point. Statistically, once 6 fascist cards have been drawn the chance of there still being at least 1 fascist cards should be 50% at this point because there'd be 6 liberals and 6 fascist cards left from the original 11/6 F/L split in the deck. Please stop saying statistically unless you have done the math and know how likely it actually is. Really didn't wanna go on a rant about it but this is the 2nd 2hour video where you're basically telling 2.1M viewers scuffed statistics and some of those are gonna believe that. P(3F) = 1 * 11/17 * 10/16 * 9/15 = 0.243, P(2F, 1L) = 3 * 11/17 * 10/16 * 6/15 = 0.485 - Note there's 3 ways to arrange 2F1L with all equal odds (xyz/klm = zxy/mlk so the order doesn't matter once we put it in one big fraction), P(1F, 2L) = 3 * 11/17 * 6/16 * 5/15 = 0.243, P(3L) = 1 * 6/17 * 5/16 * 4/15 = 0.029. I picked my rounding as such to polish out the rounding errors to avoid confusion for people that add them up and expect to see a 1. This is allowed since I work with integer data (no error margin beyond the decimal point as it's guaranteed to be exactly n.00000 etc) so the answer may be assumed exact enough for any significance. Also rounded on decimal points instead of significance, which is technically not allowed, but it's a tiny hit of accuracy for a large improvement in clarity, the final significant digit of P(3L) is a 4 for those who prefer accuracy over clarity. If we were to extend the number of decimals on P(3F) and P(1F, 2L) we'll see P(3F) is even ever so slightly more likely than P(2L,1F) unlike what the intuition would tell us. Point being, don't try to guess statistics especially on unfair odds, the answer can surprise you and especially in a game of lying you don't wanna be the one fooling yourself.

I'm disappointed in these comments. I see no props to the music anywhere here. I can confirm this is the Ace Attorney orchestra soundtrack. Edit: I believe I mistook the Orchestra Soundtrack for the "Turnabout Jazzy Soul" soundtrack. That's on me. The series has 14 albums in total so it's sometimes difficult remembering each one specifically.

Started watching these again just to remind myself of the good old days of Polaris, and the glory that was and is John Bain. Still miss him, like so many others do. But, pedant that I am, I cannot help but look at the second game and wonder what went wrong there. Watching this back all these years later, it still amazes me that TB and Matthas managed to completely throw the game for the Liberals by wasting a bullet on Maggie instead of taking out a guaranteed Fascist in Cry. Like, why gamble on Maggie being Hitler when you can literally just shoot Cry, since you know he's not Hitler, and cripple Fascist voting power? And all of this happened after TB and Matthas confirmed each other as Liberals. Twice. And Matthas claims he gave Cry a choice, giving Cry the chance to win the game for the Liberals, and Cry chose fascist. The second game would've played out completely differently if TB and Matthas hadn't gotten greedy with the bullet and just thrown it at the obvious choice, rather than banking on Maggie being Hitler with no proof beyond her having seen Jesse's role and having one fascist policy pass in the early game. I also love that nobody ever questioned Sinvicta's weird voting habits, or that Jesse, Cry, and Sinvicta were the only ones who voted yes on Jesse being chancellor. The fascists literally showed who they were and no one noticed it.
