The only thing that scared me in this quest was Kaveh and Alhaitham actually behaving and not being passive aggressive to each other.

I really liked how Sethos stayed mysterious instead of letting the fun get to him and revealing himself. I felt past characters just didn’t kept up their mysterious side.

I think this is the first time in Genshin that a weapons name, Staff of Scarlet Sands, was explicitly said.

It was very nice to learn more about Cyno and even a bit about Tighnari. Their family dynamic with Collei is cute as always. Sethos is awesome, can't wait to see more of of him. I was happy to see Alhaitham and Kaveh again. They seemed to improve their communication after the Parade of Providence. We saw glimpses of it in Kaveh's hangout but now they are even more comfortable and domestic, Kaveh calls Alhaitham's house "home", they don't argue but still tease eachother, much softer now. It's a very nice development. The secret House of Daena scene is the cutest 🥺

Kaveh should go to Fontaine to look for his mother and bring Cyno, then they travel back through Mondstadt route to meet Lisa on the way back to Sumeru.

Crewmeru is the best group in genshin. Plus I'm really loving the down to earth moments in this quest. It's very tangibile and fleshed out.

I think Cyno's second mission was by far one of my favorites, I had a lot of fun and the story captivated me. all this being Cyno main🥺💜. I also loved your voice acting CyYu❤❤

I absolutely enjoyed this story quest, it felt like this was the type of story quest you wanted for a long time with your favorite characters of Sumeru. NOW PLEASE STOP STEALING THE SCRIPTS UNDER HOYO’S NOSE!

I remember reading the manga when I started playing Genshin the first year of launch and seeing Cyno motivated me to stick with this game until his release. Playing this quest made me so happy to finally have him playable and see how far this game has come. I love Cyno even more the fact you voice him and he’s literally my birthday twin. He’s better than I could’ve ever expected and despite all the ups and downs Genshin’s been through, it’ll always have a special place in my heart.

honestly Arlecchino's SQ became my favorite SQ when it released, and then got immediately replaced by Cyno's 2nd SQ. so muc food for us Haikaveh and Cynari shippers istg. Cyno n Tighnari sharing a tent, Alhaitham and Kaveh actually getting along and being cutely domestic. my heart. they are fr the most canon ships in genshin. on another note, the story and lore from this quest was great! love that they sprinkled in a bit of lore about Tighnari's ancestors too! also finally finding out wtf happened to Cyno's birth parents. poor baby Cyno.

I couldn’t help but laugh when I saw Traveler’s sword is what is defending their tent. But I have the PlayStation exclusive equipped to my Aether. That’s the sword that has fallen two Harbingers and plenty of high-end monsters.

I don't play Genshin but I love everything about Sumeru cuz I love desert theme and my fav own dnd character is from the desert too so Sumeru is very inspiring from me. I'm so happy Cyno got a new story quest because the academics are my favs from this game. ❤

I just did this quest myself the other day and yeah I loved it seeing pretty much most of the squad! Was hoping for Nahida to show up (she was the only 5 star missing), but it's fine. Also I liked the change of pace compared to Cyno's first story quest, that one was more action based and this was more story driven. I didn't know about Tighnari's background so it was cool to hear about that.

I agree with the more combat scenes cus that’s what we did in arlecchino’s story quest as well. I also agree that I liked how they approach with arlecchino’s that hyv released the shorts at first cus its easier to get the whole story. Though comparing to this cutscenes from way back before, you can see the budget in the action moves tho i expect from hyv to really level it up :< Its just sad that they’re not going full out when yk they have the money

I literally dreamed of Cyno's 2nd story quest last night when I have yet to play it nor watched any scene yet. Anyway... Finished all Sumeru story quests and left Cynos' Act I so I can play it with ACT II in one go. Once I'm done I'll come back and watch it here. Hoping to hear Cyno jokes in both. Edit: 11 days later. I just played and finished the quest and I really enjoyed it, all of it. An origin Cyno quest for how he obtained his power. What was interesting about this quest is how it shows most of the Sumeru character, reminds me of version 3.6's event, the only ones who never appeared nor mentioned in Cyno's 2nd story were Layla, Nilou, and Dori. It was a nice opportunity to return to Sumeru and meet several characters again in a non-limited-time event. Also, I found it weird to witness both Kaveh and Alhaitham talking normally to one another without fighting (and I never canon them as whatever the community came up with, that's disgusting). And to add on all of it, seeing Tighniri's master with Paimon breaking the 4th wall was satisfying. I really wanted from the devs to add a scene where we tell the Sumeru crew about our adventure in Fontaine, it was a missed opportunity.

I hope you guys didnt forget to use Nahida on the npcs for extra dialogues

CONSTELLATIONS ARE SUCH COOL TATTOO IDEAS THO, I LOVE IT Abt the complimentary color part, I also noticed that Sethos's eyes are the reverse of Tighnaris(green on top hazel below instead of hazel on top and green below), and are more yellowy while Tighnari's is more cool toned. "It's a date" Really Cy? Right in front of Tighnari? 😂 Soo the 4ggravate boys are the Sumeru street boys? Bit of a Cynari tangent cause, of course: I LOVE that Tighnari is named after the place Hermanubis aka the spirit within Cyno protected. It's like a roundabout way of the game being like and now Cyno is protecting Tighnari and coexisting with him the way Hermanubis had a home to protect in Tighnar. Also the Valuka Shuna were part of Tighnar and Tullaytula, along with being a part of the people who protected Hermanubis's wisdom and power for centuries, some maybe even working alongside him. Do I read into it too much? Yes. Is it still f*cking adorable and will I still die on this hill? Also yes.

What happened to search for your answer?”, it really reminded me of when Macaque from Lego Monkie kid also said a very similar line about Sun Wukong in their first battle in the series. I don’t know if it is coincidence or not, but these two similar lines are both lines that Cyyu said as a voice actor for them. 🤔

I've been watching along with two friends who just started Genshin and the mouth flaps match up to the Liyue Archon quest. So... not far into the game at all. I think if they had more staff focusing on localisation and animation that they could catch up. If anyone is capable, apply, they're actually looking for more staff at Hoyo.
