I still train with my Bren 805, it's a workhorse! My Bren 2 is my truck and carry weapon, in pistol configuration. I'm so ready to get both the 300 and 556 of the Bren 3!

Looks great. Big CZ fan here, but losing faith in CZ-USA. Not impressed with the lack of customer service and horrible parts availability these days. Also, your LE/MIL program used to be excellent and now it is completely gone. Not sure I will continue to give CZ my business in the future.

My Bren 2 is my favorite 5.56 rifle. It looks like there are some nice improvements on the Bren 3. But there are 2 things I would like to see. 1. Give the bolt catch/release in the handguard some wings so that it hangs slightly outside the trigger guard. Much like the Bushmaster ACR. 2. (Less important) An ambi charging handle instead of just swapable.

I'd strongly advise people NOT to buy this until CZ proves they can provide spare parts for rifles they've already made and customer service that at least rises above "abysmal".

The bolt release/hold open in the trigger guard is a 100% no go. Looks like the handguards are the big improvement, not much else? Big miss is not being able to customize the grip with any of the million AR grips out there. Had a BREN 2 11" and it was a good gun after I dropped cash on a HB Industries handguard as the stock handguard was a complete fail with all those screws. The weapon always worked, but it was expensive, no parts support and not more accurate or reliable than a $1,000 AR-15/M-4. Sold it and don't regret it.

So 762x39 is out the door huh? I heard a rumour that even cz bren 2 were not being made for 762x39 anymore.

Perhaps they could be produced for the American market at the Colt factory, which belongs to the same owner as CZ Group. If they were produced in the USA for the American market, it would improve the availability of weapons and parts on the market.

Great. Hope our Air Force Tier One Unit continues the trend with the Bren 3 they started by procuring Bren 806 2. All other branches, including SOF army commandos and paratroopers/pathfinders, use the SCAR L complement by the H/HPR (except Navy and "regular" marines, still using the old frame HK G3, although many kitted with spuhr fited also with the same aimpoint comp m4 as the regular army with SCAR L), and our other 2 tier 1 units (army - "Rangers", navy - Special Actions Detachment) use some HK G-36 C/K/V versions, but mostly the HK 416A5, SCAR SC in limited numbers and they would be well served with the Bren 3. Cheers.
