Kobe’s explained this many times! Sure he loved the game more than anyone, but this was also a job. He gets paid millions and millions to win championships on championships. His demeanor was just that of a leader, a professional and a winner. He just comes ready to play and always wanting to win. I think part of Kobe’s disgust towards his non-hard working teammates was simply due to the fact that anyone can be great like he was- just do the work! RIP MAMBA🖤💜💛

Jason Kidd talked about Lebron's effect on Kobe during the Olympics. Kobe lightened up and employed humour more (according to Kidd) after that. I think Kobe could recognise something that improves his game and results. But that's kind of it - Kobe s entirely about the game, and Lebron seems to have have set his sights on his overall life, sometimes to the detriment of his status as GOAT. It’s point guard vs a shooting guard. Point guard has to get everyone involved, shooting guard has to just cook.
@ecofriendly010 ай бұрын
Nah it’s stat padding power forward vs shooting guard. Stat padder likes to make everyone believe that the end goal doesn’t matter, while the shooting guards goats MJ/Kobe likes to lead by example and will their teams to victories when it mattered most.

This is the problem. Everyone thinks you have to kill people the same way. Bron is just as much of a killer as Kobe, he just does it differently. The clutch numbers speak it's self with Bron. Why do people think we all have a do things the same. They're both great.

@@King_DTV Bron is the only NBA player who has to perform or hit every clutch shot. MJ or Kobe never hit every clutch shot and that's just basketball. But Bron is held to an unsubstainable standard. I probably spelled that wrong lol

Two different ways of leadership. One through comradery and we'll built through connection and another through respect and disciple. They both work you just need the right players.

Same as Lebron. The expectation Kobe gained had a little bit to do with MJ´s support from 98 on. Difference: Bron was a beast right from the get go. Kobe took 4 years till he produced star like numbers.

@@flstep835 You are 100% right. Kobe didn´t even get real playtime in his first season, then he slowly developed into Shaqs sidekick over the next 3 years. Lebron was the number one option in Cleveland right from the start. Completely different circumstances and expectaions. The young kid from Philadelpha, that had to proove himself and wasn´t even seen as a starting 5 player from his organisation vs the choosen one, who will bring the championship to Cleveland one day.
