He has been, actually. I’ve watched every single game this season and he clearly catapulted his production since the trade rumors started. It also helps that LeBron and AD have let him become the primary ball handler and just let him do his thing and they play off ball.

With every day that passes, we keep getting farther and farther away from the idea that this is a fluke or hot streak. The last THIRTY games: 20p, 3r, 6a on 47/44/82% Lakers are 19-11 After an entire offseason of thinking Reaves would be the “almost all star” guy, DLo has pretty much saved this year from being an actual disaster. They’re still not amazing, but they have needed every minute of this DLo run.

I mean... he literally averaged 18/6 on 47/40 last year and was averaging the same this season up until December. The fluke was his "slump" in which he was taken off ball and barely getting 10 shot attempts. Which is coincidentally exactly what happened in the WCF.... I hate to say it because I love him as a player, but a lot of the Lakers problems this season and last stem from them wanting Reaves to be the 3rd despite the fact that DLo actually is.

Julius randle, Brandon Ingram, lonzo ball, Alex Caruso, Jordan Clarkson. All of these players drafted by LA and ball out on other teams. Tells you something. Although I think Rob pelinka learned his lesson with Dlo because he didn’t trade him and now it’s paying dividends.

his defensive effort has improved. still not great espec on ball. nonexistent really. his shots just more confident. last szn was the worst ive ever seen dlo shoot, like, there were bad misses likely backboards, airballs u name it.

Any point guard on le brings team is likely to be traded and will not get a long term contract. Lebron is trying to bronny to LA to be point. If not ... Lebron leaves LA and go the same to that drafts bronny and lebron takes veteran minimum to make sure deal goes down.
