As a stallions fan thought corral played ok he made some mistakes he'll learn. Next week I hope both and play, Dc played a neck of a game both teams struggled in this game. It could have gone either way. Shoutout to both teams and both kickers. I'm glad we won, however we have to get better. Go stallions 1-0 every week.

I'm just a football fan...I love this football, the players are just playing not worrying about their contract.. and the action is not stopped every 2 or three plays for a ref call, to be reviewed, or this or that play to be reviewed. so much better than what the nfl is doing.

What a game! I had a feeling this would be good, as DC was very solid in the XFL last year, and came in 2-1 with two good wins.

The UFL should have brought back the Philly/Baltimore Stars. Their fans would have shown up for the champs. The Michigan Panthers won the first USFL championship in 1983. The Philadelphia Stars won the second USFL championship in 1984, and after relocating to Baltimore, won the final USFL championship in 1985. Also the conferences in this league would make more sense, having the Stars in place of the Houston RoughNecks. The league is looking pretty solid so far. AFL relaunch debuts on Saturday on NFL Network.

The producers of these (much-appreciated) highlights should study the editing of the corresponding NFL highlight videos: a bit less cutting off of commentary, and at least some coverage of each change-of-possession for continuity. Too often we're jumped straight to the next possession of the team that just scored. More gentleness with the editing scissors please, guys.

If/when a kicker gets drafted in the first 6 rounds, that team is making a huge mistake. The UFL should pretty much eliminate the thought of drafting one imo. If your team drafts a kicker in rounds 4 or 5 this year, how can you trust your GM? Hard to imagine anyone drafted being more reliable than McCrane & Bates this season.

Talladega Race Weekend, as well as Birmingham Barons having a double-header, and weather also played a factor as well. The attendance before the lightning delay was 7,262.

Harsh critique! The Defenders were not expected to win this game. All of the UFL pundits had the Stallions winning big. It was supposed to be a blow out. What I saw, was two VERY physical teams, just slugging it out. DC made big plays, and some dumb mistakes, but I think the Defenders found their identity in this game. If the Defenders can play a clean game, they can beat any team in this league. The Defenders still haven't played a clean game yet. That's what I want to see, just once this season from DC.

A few observations (nobody asked for) As for the UFL, I do not like the regional broadcast. I am an out of market Defenders fan who had no legal access to the game. I managed to watch, but my ratings won't be counted... Also, this game should have been on national TV as the early game. This will go down as the best football game that nobody saw. The players and coaches deserve better. As for the game, I am proud of the Defenders' effort. I thought Coach Williams and Coach Kaiss called great games, and the Defenders fought hard, made some big plays, and played a mostly clean game. To me, the Stallions and Defenders looked evenly matched. Glad the Defenders are finished with them. Positives for DC: D-Line; O-Line; QB; the WRs; the RBs; the CBs; the play calling. Things to work on: Tackling; Long snapping; LBs and Safeties need to improve in pass coverage; pass catching; and short-yardage run blocking. Lots of positives for DC despite the loss. On to the next one. 🛡️ 🛡️ up!

it seems like DC's coaches were carried last year by their star talent. Too conservative on the final drive when another first down wins you the game.

Nah, Coach Barlow had to take the points and hope the D could make a stop. The Defenders were getting shoved around in short yardage situations all game. No way the Defenders convert that 4th and 1 based on what I saw up to that point.

Week 7 you play the best QB and the UFL Allstar team at WR. They have 4 of probably the top 8 WRs in the league. And probably the top 2.

The defenders were cheated this game The stallions clearly jumped off sides, and the replay showed it. And they called it on the defenders, smh You can't get that wrong when the defense jumps first.
