uncle john, finally succeeding to do something that his daughter can never truly thank him for... gave her a chance to live a full life.
did anyone just hold their breath as he said;
...as a human or as a vampire, I love you all the same, as I've always loved you and always will.
and elena was locking eyes with damon at the same time.... wow... i know i had to catch my breath afterwards... she loves him... she loves him... and i think she's now realizing it. finally.
my heart hurts for aunt jenna, she never got to show her true potential. my heart hurt equally for alaric and jeremy and elena. they've lost so many they love in such a short amount of time...
when elena said; turn it off, to aunt jenna, i cried.
when uncle john died, i cried.
when elena woke up, seeing damon's relief, i cried.
and i cried when stefan watched damon walk away; head held high, proud and wanting nothing more than the girl he loves not to mourn him.... and his brother, stefan, crying for the brother he loves, through it all....
this episode was EPIC.

this is so touching, so emotional. omg. I'm not even able to speak right now. You Said it all in the discription box and i can do nothing but sit here in silence, fight against my tears and agree. God, i can't take this. It's so much to handle. And now, when i think about the finale... Wow. What will this Be like? Will i ever be able to speak...to think...or even to breathe?! I am watching this over and over again!!! It´s like a drug! :D This is beautiful and epic!! I love scene with Damon and Elena in the cemetery!! There is so much feelings between them, that have not been told yet!! I can´t wait for some other scenes with these two ;) This episode was heartbreaking. Please, keep doing such an amazing stuff ;)

This was so damn sad! I have tears in my eyes! Thank you so much! And I totally agree with everything you said! Especially the Delena part ... my heart stopped beating when Elena looked up to Damon and in the background were John's words that fit Damon as well as John himself. Amazing!

I cried from very beginning, it was just so sad. They lost so many close people. I probably cried most for Jenna, she never got chance to show all her potential and when she finally found out about the vampires, she died - she's just gone. And John and everything, cried my heart out :(( The only good thing is that Elena is probably finally realizing that she loves Damon

Wow beautiful! Love this song and yeah this episode was EPIC! I was so sad for everyone and the looks between damon and Elena were amazing! The first time i watched the funeral scene i stopped paying attention to uncle john because i was too focused on their moment! Lol when i watched it again to hear him my heart raced even more

I don't think I can ever watch this episode again! Just because it's a sad episode and I'm probably gonna cry again if I see Jenna die, or Uncle John or realizing Damon was bit by Tyler and for what's coming in the next episode and after that.. this episode was just heart breaking from start to end. the woman we all loved died. uncle john gave his life to the daughter he never once stop loving. damon is slowly being affected by the werewolf bite. and jeremy, once again, lost someone who meant the world to him. and through all of the vampire diaries episode, this one is really just the start.

This episode was so sad, i loved that John finally got to be a good guy, the last bit of damon and elena and then when damon told steffan was heartbreaking. As even though he's dieing damon still wants to look after elena.... who really needs to realsie now that she loves damon not steffan

@Asia10000 tack så jättemycket! jag veeet, jag missade hela john's speech första gången också... det var när jag såg om det jag verkligen fokuserade på vad han sa... och då upptäckte jag det... och jag undrar om det inte var meningen att komma just när de tittade på varann och om det var då elena kanske tänkte till att det damon gjorde, det gjorde han med rent hjärta och av kärlek, inte själviskhet... :)
